A great cooling solution, but beware it is HUGE– make sure you have room in your case for cable routing and access.

This unit is definitely quiet. I installed it on an lga1700 motherboard with Intel cpu. Installation varies depending on whether you’re installing AMD or Intel cpus. Don’t forget to attach the bracket to the back of the Intel compatible motherboard before installing the motherboard (or make sure to can access the area after). I used the “auto” setting, connected it to one of the sys fans and enabled PWM mode for the sys fan header. The fan is very quiet. Also quite large! You’ll likely need to install the RAM end NVMe SSDs prior to the cooler. I also plugged in my SATA cables and case cables first, as access is a little more difficult after the fact.

Be Quiet! did a phenomenal job with this fantastic air cooler. I’ve used the Dark Rock Pro 4 for many years and have been very satisfied with its performance. So when I decided to upgrade my PC I went with the Pro 5.
The Pro 5 is an improvement over the Pro 4, being simpler to install and still keeping my CPU cool.

Qualite Bequiet….en sortant le ventirad de la boite on se rends compte immediatement que c est du lourd…par contre l installation a ete plus compliquee que je pensais dans mon boitier…..mon i7 13700k est a 35 degres au repos et a 60 degres en jeu ( dead space remake….)….et tout ca dans le silence total…meme en mode performance……..il est enorme….il est magnifique une fois installé…..ce ventirad depasse mes attentes…..je suis totalement satisfait de mon achat..

Everything but the price is good. The build qaulity is excellent. The cooler is well thought out and easy to install. Even things that I don’t like (fan clips) worked well. By far the best CPU cooler I’ve ever used. I don’t know how well it hold up over time though, the last three fans I’ve tried ended up wearing out, seems like it would be easy to fix if it does though.

Pretty sure the pump on my 240mm Cooler Master AIO is on it’s way out, so I was in need of something to cool my 5800x. I ran cinebench R24, and had some thermal throttling as it was sitting at 195F(90C).
The product itself is solid, and well built. Easy install. Quiet while running at full throttle. And does a heck of a job cooling!
Went from 195F(90C) to 160F(70C) at full 100% CPU load during another cinebench run. 30F(20C) difference in temps. Dang! Has dropped idle temps by -5, and 10-15F during gaming sessions.
Not sure if these numbers are common place for everyone who’s slaying with a 5800x, but it definitely gives me peace of mind for the longevity of my CPU.
I feel the fact I snagged this for $80 has made it worth my time & money thus far.
