The phone ordered was a “Premium Renewed” condition phone from Chubbiestech. The phone arrived in exactly the condition described by the seller. It does show light signs of use and I had to give it a quick clean before use, but everything works as expected and diagnostics passed without issue. Aside from the very minor scratches / scuffs from normal use, the screen is in great condition with zero burn in or other issues. The battery seems to be lasting decently, with 524 cylces and a manufacture date of August 29th, 2021, although I cannot compare it to the battery performance of a brand new Pixel since I do not have one on hand. Overall this is a great choice for a phone at this price point, even in 2024

This phone is a solid performer and more than handles any task you could throw at it! I’d strongly suggest this over the Pixel 7 Pro! While it is a year older, it has similar specs, and being in the IT industry, I work for a company that bulk purchased a fleet of Pixel 7 Pros less than a year ago. So far, three have failed with horrible screen issues. There are threads all over the internet that delve into this and it is a huge issue with the 7 Pros. The 6 Pro doesn’t seem to have those issues and seems to have a better build quality. Plus, the 6 Pro is an amazing deal in the used market!

Bought an excellent condition but I was worried about the product after reading the reviews about various things not working on the phone and realized I guess I need to be lucky to get a good product.

Surprisingly all aspects of the phone are as described. Everything looked good. CPUZ showed the right hardware, battery health above 90%, no physical damage except very faint scratchs on the back panel and a bit of paint rip off on the charger port.

Screen and rest of the hardware are in a awesome condition.

They even put a tempered glass on the phone! Thanks a ton for that. Really hard to do it on a curved display phone.

I ordered the renewed good condition and was expecting to receive a phone in decent condition. What I got was basically a phone in perfect condition! No scratches on the body, screen or back camera of the phone. And the Pixel 6 Pro is such an amazing phone. I had the 6A before and that was a total letdown (battery drained super fast after a couple months and charging port was so loose it would not charge). I also had the iPhone 13 mini and Z flip 4 before this and this phone outperforms both by miles. I heard others say the 6 Pro was better than the 7 Pro and I’m glad I listened to them haha. I would recommend anyone looking for a decent price but powerful phone to grab a Pixel 6 Pro. Oh and I also got it for only $200 (price fluctuates so just keep watching) so that was a plus 😀

First off, the phone is great, good size, quality pictures, easy to use, etc. The problem is the phone seems to be infected with malware of some kind. For example I have the Tile app open trying to search for trackers. When midway through the process the screen will close the program as if you swiped the phone to close it and I won’t even be touching the phone. If I try to pay for a voip service provider it will reject all forms of payment but I can use an Apple product and have no problem. Normally I have the mic set to blocked but I will open the phone to have the button show it’s on. These incidents occur weather connected to the internet by cable or with a major mobile service provider SIM card installed. The phone is essentially useless because big brother or big cartel is messing with the phone. I should say I’m a former officer who’s had this type of harassment occurring for the last three years. I should have known better than to order a phone on Amazon but thought I’d give it a shot. Amazon may have bad actors among its staff along with delivery personnel who are corrupt causing these issues. Packages intercepted and tampered with or information on the IMEI number stolen. I’ve used the phone very little and didn’t put a SIM card in until a month ago but the phone was not tampered with wile in my poses nor have I clicked on any strange links or emails. I believe the phone arrived with malware installed. This is not the fault of the seller and as stated it’s a great phone just not secure for me. If your the average person this phone will likely be great. I have not used the face recognition or fingerprint reader so I can’t comment on those features.

First time utilizing Amazon renewable services, so certainly not trying to convey a wealth of experience. I ordered the Pixel 6 pro, paid $298. Brand new retail was $650. The unit I ordered was listed in “Excellent” condition.

I received a generic box that included the phone which was professionally encased in a foam cover, a sim key, cable packaged, and charger sealed in plastic. The charger and cable appear to be new, the charger is a black samsung fast charger. Additionally they include a return label (in case you wish to send back the phone), and Amazon offers a 90 day return window. (normal is 60 day)

The phone was clean (no smudges or fingerprints), and free from any blemishes. The only sign it was not brand new was a little discoloration near the microphone and that may have been just the color of the protective screen.

The phone booted up to the home screen with no data on it(like it had been tested). I factory reset it and the phone linked with my google account and Sim with no issues. I did need a double usb c cable(not included) to transfer data from my old phone (Pixel 2) to the new Pixel 6 Pro. The whole set up process was easy and the phone appears to be fully functional.

The initial review of the phone itself. I bought this to replace a Pixel 7 (not a pro) that had a laundry list of problems including the dreaded spontaneously cracking rear camera lens. (Amazon accepted my return for a partial refund, Google would not honor warranty claim.) My previous (to the Pixel 7)phone and the one I used in the interim was the Pixel 2 (love the pixel 2 all time favorite phone, just hasn’t been supported since 2020, so is a little buggy, and battery life is terrible.)

The Pixel 6 pro has an amazing camera set up. 4 times optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. That being said I recognize the specs are better than both the Pixel 7 and 2, but Im not sure how many photos I take that truly take advantage of the increased capability. All three phones were completely adequate.

The processor on all three phones is faster than I am, so Im not sure I can really rate the difference, but it is plenty fast and years of updates coming.

Where I am super happy, the fingerprint scanner, the pixel 7 never worked very well, (maybe 1 out of 10, and I often had to wet my thumb for biometric authentication which made it better but still maybe 5 out of 10), nothing I did made a significant improvement(no protector, w/ protector, reinput fingerprints etc.). The pixel 2 is the best fingerprint scanner I have ever used (I really like it being placed on the rear and using my index finger.) That said the Pixel 6 Pro has the screen thumbprint scanner like the 7, but it works 9 out of 10 times, and honestly I think the 10th time may be because I miss the spot with my thumb. So huge improvement over the 7 and I can only hope google goes back to the rear one in the future(not holding my breath)

Size, its taller than the 7, it is a pro, and both the regular 6 and 7 are much larger than the 2. I really liked the 2’s size <6 inches, but none of the top phones are sub 6 inches anymore, and going from the 7 to the 6 pro really hasn't changed where I can put it or how I use it. So overall not a negative factor for me, but a both 7 and 6 pro are a little big for the front pocket.

My initial impressions are really good, I am pleasantly surprised with Amazons renewal service, and the price point is fantastic (46% of new cost), also it is nice to give new life to a piece of tech that otherwise may have gone to the landfill. The pixel 6 pro at least initially seems to not have any of the issues I suffered through with the 7, the fingerprint scanner works, the USB C port works consistently, hopefully no issues with the screen or camera lens, I have protectors on both and a Spigen case. Also, the pro model has a significantly better fit and finish despite being a model year older. According to the specs a 6 pro beats a 7 regular in almost every area.

Amazon incentivizing using this service with extending the return window and even including the return receipt makes using this renewal service an excellent option. My phone looked brand new, I did see in the reviews that some people had some blemishes on the body. I am always going to put a case on it, I would have been ok with some minor blemishes , if everything works and the lens and screen are perfect, but everyone is different. I will update if anything changes.
