I recently had to get rid of my old $20 basic rice cooking pot. I had it for years, and decided when it died to at least double my budget on a new one.
this one fit the bill perfectly. Its small, clean aesthetic, and easy to use.
Its just me and my girlfriend using it, we dont ever fill it all the way and it makes enough rice for the two of us and sometimes leftovers too.
Lovely rice cooker. easy buttons for white rice, brown rice, Quinoa, and steel cut oat? Ive only ever used the rice function but it is flawless, makes good proper rice, and keeps it warm as long as you need to before serving.
Its very easy to clean, the little pot is non-stick ceramic and removes easily for cleaning. The lid that actually covers the rice pops out of the frame for easy cleaning as well.
Overall well worth the price, not really super expensive, but feels way nicer (and functions way nicer) than the crappy basic $20 pots.
If you are like me, you only felt you needed the basics, and dont want a $100+ rice cooker, this is a nice happy medium for 2-4ish people. Compact, effective, not super expensive, and makes up to 4 cups of rice (which we maybe make 1 cup per person on average)
You wont regret the purchase.

I made the following review, but I’m updating it. I thought the inside pot was peeling but it turns out it was the leftover uncleared goo from oatmeal! It’s not peeling at all. It was stupid me who didn’t realize it was leftover food,
The only thing I don’t like is that it sometimes bubbles over the top of the steam valve.
Otherwise this little yellow unit is golden.
Super cute, lives on counter, small footprint.
Even has a lovely rice paddle.
Great gift for morning oatmeal or cooked grain people!
Easy to use, makes a daily amount, no need for leftovers.

I read other reviews and ordered anyway.
Used twice, once porridge rice with almond milk—epic failure. Overflowed out of top steam vent all over counter.
Second with brown rice using the one cup measurement (using the cup that came with unit) and filled inside of pot to the matching line. Also overflowed steam vent at top.
Both times the unit overflowed liquid out of top steam vent. It has no side catch like other rice cookers so that’s the only place for it to go.
Worst thing was, used twice in same day and the bottom coating on inside of the “ceramic” cooking pot is already peeling. Both a clear coat, which came up on my fingers when I inspected it. And the black – gray coating on the inside bottom lip where the sides meet the bottom.
Epic failure
Avoid at all costs
It’s cute but does not work and will kill you slowly after you ingest chemical coating.

Doesn’t work on Australia PowerPoints which would have been nice to know. Very cute though when I get the connection I’ll see how it goes

this product is pretty straightforward with directions, making it really easy to use
its quite small and perfect for smaller kitchens, and looks absolutely adorable in any kitchen.
it works quite well, and is easy to clean up afterwards.
the rice it produces is quite delicious, and doesn’t tend to burn or anything. overall a great product!!

This little rice cooker is great! It’s both cute and functional!
I recently started watching what I eat and paying more attention to my food, and decided I should get a rice cooker to help introduced more grains into my diet. I bought a cheap one before I got this one, and while I still use it, it was still bigger than I needed and would burn the bottom of the rice too. It also boiled over often, and just annoyed me.
So I started looking into a higher end rice cooker and found they get quite expensive, especially if you want a “Smart” or “Fuzzy logic” version. Of which is really the main feature of higher end rice cookers. Fuzzy logic is just a name for a rice cooker that uses a small computer to help decide whether or not it needs more heat, more time and even adjusts to how much moisture, more so on the expensive versions. (Conveniently this one also has that ability to adjust it’s parameters for better rice!)
Then I found this little guy! And it’s perfect! Small enough I can cook my own portion of rice, and still big enough I can make enough for 2-3 people. All while not boiling over all the time, especially with brown rice. I just made wild rice in it too and it came out perfect. My rice always comes out perfect now.
It’s also very simple to use. Options from White and brown rice, quinoa, and steel cut oats. I’ve tried them all and have good results each time. For wild rice I just used brown rice. You can also adjust the cook time for each individual setting too. I appreciate how fast it cooks too. If your in a rush for brown rice, you can use the white rice setting, and still get good results! More importantly, I have yet to ever have burned rice! It has only lightly toasted to bottom once, but that’s because I left it on warm for a while and is more my fault than it’s.
It is also very easy to clean. The non stick helps a lot, and being ceramic I don’t worry too much. Everything that news cleaning is easy to take apart and put back together again as well.
Overall I am very happy so far! I have some more experimenting to do yet, so I’ll update later!

The pot looks really small but actually can accommodate good quantity. Been using it for a while…cooks well.
No issues if you can figure out the timings of cooking required.

I have two other rice cookers. One is a Phillips that you can make 8-10 cups of rice or cook a large meal in it. I still use this rice cooker when we have a large gathering. I then bought a 2 cup rice cooker for just two people and it worked great except it started to burn the bottom of the rice if you left it on warm for 10 to 15 minutes. Then my search brought me to this rice cooker. It actually cooks 4 cups of rice; is easy to use. Its very user friendly, simple touch controls. The compact size makes it great on counter space and storage compared to other, bulkier units. Keeping it clean is a must. I wipe it down after every use and never put the pot in the dishwasher and would advise against doing so. Preventative maintenance will keep this little rice cooker at the ready for many years to come.

Makes oatmeal like I used to have back when I was a child. Effortless!
Quinoi comes out perfect!
