This is actually my second Switch, I’m still playing my launch-day version and it’s never given me a problem. I bought this one as a birthday gift and it’s a great upgrade (I’m totally jelly). The build quality still feels great and the OLED colors are just beautifully detailed and rich. The battery life seems much better too, but that could just be because mine’s old and has seen a ton of use.
I’ll be needing one of these of my own soon!

The design of this is so timeless for me. As a PC gamer, I’ve not been too much into consoles, and I’ve felt that a lot of Nintendo products have been a little gimmicky, but the Switch is brilliant, and I truly regret not buying a Switch much earlier. I love the Zelda design, and I’m happy I went for this one. The biggest thing I dislike about the Switch are the monthly/yearly charges for the classic games in the Switch Online store. I think I’d rather buy them outright. Other than that, the OLED screen is also really nice.

Took forever to ship (gave me anxiety), but still arrived within the estimated timeframe. On the other hand, box came with no damage, and it was brand new as stated. Gorgeous console, and a big upgrade from my first switch to the OLED screen. The doc is very pretty, and I am in love with the look. Feels heavier and sturdier than regular switch, and the battery also lasts much longer. Made me feel like a little kid all over again. God bless Ethel Cain for dying for our sins, and inspiring me to buy this.

Reading the reviews made me scared but my impulse on the last day of Amazon Prime day won. I’m overall extremely happy. Brand new and delivered within the expected timeframe despite the massive internet outage. Only complaint I have is more of to blame on the outage and prime day. It took 5 days for the product to ship so when I didn’t get shipping updates, I was concerned. But it still got here in Amazon’s expected time. Works amazing and looks beautiful.
To reference some reviews I read:
1. I knew the game didn’t come with. The description specified that.
2. I got the NA version instead of the international, thankfully.
3. It was indeed LoZ instead of the Mario collab.
4. It was brand new as listed. When I went to look back at this listing a couple days after ordering, it listed as the only ones left were used-very good condition. I’m not saying the previous reviews are lying but reading the entire listing/details is essential. Amazon is pretty good about making sure to have it SOMEWHERE in the listing.
Anyway, I’m super happy with my impulse buy. Hope this helps some of y’all that scan reviews before buying like I do!

It’s been over a year since I bought the console and, oh my gosh, it’s so great and practical.
Playing on TV and in handheld mode is as seamless as just placing it in and out the dock.
The battery life is great. I can spend hours playing and no problem.
There are so many fun games, the catalog is so big.
TL;DR After a year and a half, it’s been amazing. I love it.

Yes I maybe older, but I’ve always loved the Zelda games ever since the first one was released in the 1980’s on the original Nintendo console. My oldest daughter “stole” took it and told me it is now hers. So I bought me this one and I absolutely love it. The screen is slightly bigger than the original, better graphics and double the storage. Definitely recommend and I also bought my youngest daughter her own Switch OLED.

I’m not sure what people are complaining about the game not coming with this system for. It’s only $10 – $20 more expensive than the basic Oled model. You really think your going to get a special addition system plus the game for $10-$20? Your dreaming. Or just very bad at math.
The system is great, I wasn’t a big fan of the controllers in the pictures, but I like them more in person. They are just not what I would normally consider my style, but they are very nice and well made. They have grown on me the longer I have them for. I love the metal backing, and the special design swirls. There is also a good amount of room in the doc to put a case on the system. There is actually so much room that you might want a case, I didn’t actually like how lose it fit without one. But I’m happy to have the extra protective layer.
Although, I did want to add, that there is a protective screen on this. Not a screen to peal off, an actual permanent screen protector. I was trying to get it off when I stopped to look it up because it was stuck on there so good. Do not remove this, but feel free to add your own protector on top.
