Just as title says the tube should hold enough for at least 4 applications for the price but only one. Was a little dissapointed at price for how much you get but does work well.

This is probably one of the best deals in terms of thermal pastes that you can buy right now. Not only do you get 3.5g of thermal paste for the cost (which is at least 5-8 applications worth of paste on average), but it also comes with 3 high quality, large cleaning wipes. Additionally, for the value you are getting, this thermal paste is also nearly as performant as some of the top thermal paste brands such as Thermal Grizzly’s Kryonaut.

The paste itself is nothing special appearance wise as it’s your standard silvery thermal paste you all know and love, but it is also fortunately non-conductive as well as having no necessary cure time. This is great as it means it won’t short out your CPU if it spills over the sides (which is a common occurrence on the new AM5 Ryzen heat spreader design) and it means the paste will be at full effectiveness right out of the gate without any waiting or paste burn-in time. All you have to do is apply the paste, mount the cooler, and that’s it. No worries about shorts or high temps with this paste (as long as you still have an adequate heatsink that is).

Regardless, I was getting some impressive 5-8°C temperature reductions compared to the MX-4 paste I had been using previously. This is especially important as I am using a Ryzen 7700X with this paste, which in itself already gets really hot regardless of the cooler used. I won’t go into detail about the coolers as this review is about the paste itself, and the temperature reductions were similar on each cooler I tried when compared to the MX-4. The more interesting part of this review, however, is when I compared it to Kryonaut. This paste and Kryonaut are incredibly close in temp performance, usually with Kryonaut about 1-2°C cooler in some cases, but that’s close enough for me to say that this NT-H2 paste has near equal performance to the much more costly Kryonaut paste.

Overall, this is an incredibly high performing paste and an excellent value. For just a little more in cost compared to the base 1g kit of Kryonaut, you not only get nearly the same level of performance, but you also get 3.5x more thermal paste and 3 high quality cleaning wipes. In the end, I would highly recommend getting this thermal paste as I personally believe it to be the best “all-around” deal that is currently available. It meets all the standards that I have, and it’s difficult for me to choose any other paste over this one unless you want to move up to liquid metal options.

I have used many other TIM’s over the past year, including some with higher thermal rating. None have produced better temp results than H2. It is easy to apply (I use the 3-line method) and low cost per gram. As usual, Noctua products deliver performance and quality. This is my standard CPU paste now.

A product-improved version of the NT-H1. Easy to apply, easy to remove, non-conductive, and very high performance. This is up there with Grizzly Kryonaut and Gelid GC-Extreme in testing. To get anything measurably better you would need to go with conductive liquid metal thermal mediums like Conductonaut. Those are much higher risk of failure and much more difficult to work with, not worth it in anything beyond extreme overclocking applications. Can’t give a temp comparison because I didn’t use the stuff they sent with my Contac Silent 12 heatsink, immediately cleaned and applied the NT-H2 to it. Under a 20min stress test it never went above 70c with default fan curve, impressive for a quiet heatsink meant to keep decibels low more than keeping temps down while gaming.

Packaging is very nice, you have the option of buying the larger 10g tube slightly cheaper per gram if you plan on building a few more systems or doing GPU’s, the wipes are convenient (not collectibles, go ahead and use them guilt-free) and even the common complaint about price on Noctua products is not really valid. This stuff costs the same as Arctic MX-4 at the moment just under $13 for a 3.5g tube, Grizzly Kryonaut costs under $10 for a 1g tube and Gelid GC-Extreme at $14.52 for a 3.5g tube. All of these products are likely going to be within 1 degree C of the other according to multiple comparison reviews and that is within the margin of error in both measurement and user application.

I added everything up and the NT-H2 came out on top as a choice for me. It’s just a good deal without sacrificing any quality for your build. Highly recommended for the combination of high performance, reasonable pricing, extras in the package and ease of use. The fact it is Noctua also adds a little of that “cool factor” for anyone who tingles when they hear that brand name.

A huge upgrade from my beloved Arctic Silver 5. As an old timer PC builder who started with Arctic Silver 3 and moved up to 5 going to this compound caught me off guard. I shaved about 10C off my 5800x3D load temps under AIO water cooling and the application was dead simple. Be sure to watch the video, the installation was different from what I was used to. I also used this on 2xE5-2680 v4 Xeon CPUs and the air cooled temps are ridiculously low.

Will recommend to others going forward. Replaced my “go to” compound and is so easy to use. Love
The longevity rating as well. Overall, zero complaints!!!

I must say that the Noctua NT-H2 Thermal Paste has exceeded my expectations in keeping my new computer remarkably cold even under stress test. I anticipated my Intel Core i7 12700k to heat up during intense tasks or during my benchmarks but thanks to this thermal paste, temperatures remained impressively low.

The 3.5g tube provides ample paste for multiple applications, and the inclusion of 3 cleaning wipes adds to the convenience since since most of pc builder including my self remove the already applied thermal paste of their CPU cooler to put better and more fresh one. The application process is straightforward, and the paste delivers efficient heat transfer according to all the test I did, ensuring optimal performance for my processor.

Therefore, the Noctua NT-H2 Thermal Paste is the way to go to maintain good temperature for your PC.

Replaced all the thermal paste in my 4 year old Zephyrus G14 with Noctua NT-H2. Temps are easily 10 – 15 degrees cooler than before replacement. No longer sounds like my desk is an active runway. Plenty left to use in my desktop build as well.

This stuff has excellent thermal performance, but I think the biggest strength it has over other thermal pastes is that its texture makes it especially easy to apply. It’s not especially runny or sticky, and it provides solid coverage. Other thermal paste that I’d tried before was comparatively difficult to work with, providing an unnecessary amount of adhesion between the CPU and the heat sink. There was none of that with this stuff.

It is a tad on the pricy side, but Noctua has never been one to sacrifice price for good R&D, and it shows here.
