    It’s a decent monitor. 180hz VA 1080p. That being said, you can probably spend another $40 and get a budget 1440p 240hz monitor or possibly even a 280hz 1080p IPS monitor. The other thing the additional $40 might buy you is height adjustability, swivel, pivot, and tilt.

    This monitor only has a basic stand with no adjustments. Not bad but not great either. With a little bit of shopping, you’ll find a much better deal with better features.

    I’m not really a gamer, but I wanted a larger monitor for office use, i.e., spreadsheets and modeling. The 27″ size was a nice upgrade for me. I set this up initially with the included stand, but that doesn’t give you much adjustability – it’s a fixed height. I swapped it out for a generic desk-mounted laptop stand, which allows me to adjust the height, angle and tilt. The screw holes on the back of the monitor fit perfectly with the stand. The picture on this monitor is good, but not great. I guess I’d classify this as a mid-tier option – good refresh rate but middling resolution. On a smaller monitor, 1080p would be just fine, but on this larger monitor, I can see pixels, especially on smaller text. Overall though, I’m happy with this, and I’d recommend it if you find it on sale.

    First monitor show up completely smashed, probably had something to do with being shipped in the same box as the pull up bar I order. Amazon did send a replacement within 48 hours.
