So, yes, the leather loop is like most things Apple a very high quality product. The only downside is that the clasp can disconnect while it is being handled at the airport or cruise and you lose the tag and loop. We lost one but not all loops this way during our last trip. Didn’t notice it was missing until we were already at the hotel. I will probably use it for hand luggage, carryons and personal items, in the future.

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my cousin, for each of our suitcases for a twelve day trip to Europe. The tracking worked almost too good. Every time the suitcases were away from us it would send a message to my Iphone. I was constantly updated as to where the suitcases were. It got to be a joke. Thank goodness they are happy at home in a drawer and the suitcase stored in a closet.
