Very quiet and performs well. I have a Ryzen 3600 to pair with this and it is working great. I play games like Call of Duty and Baldur’s gate 3 on a 4k monitor I use for web design. COD settings put it to render around 70% of the native resolution to keep fps at around 90, which gives you more real estate than 1080p which is about half, but you can go down to 1080p if needed to get high refresh rates. My monitor only supports 60 so I didn’t worry about it and took the extra working space.

Works great a few days being used so far.

Liked the accent LED strip, easy insertion into the PCIE slot, the two slot design provided for a more solid support of the card in a vertical tower setup. Good set of connectors for adding multiple monitors which it handles with ease. Gaming performance was fantastic, running WOW in full ultra mode, max viewing distances, no hiccups and solid frame rates. Color depth and lighting effects were amazing.

My first build in 6 years was this for my daughter. I paired it with a very fast i-9 Intel CPU and ASUS motherboard. It’s absolutely quiet so you cannot tell if it’s on unless you look at the light. It runs her games faster than my two RTX GPU’s and it’s very inexpensive for all it delivers. It’s also so small — nano-tech is being engineered right before our eyes. Minecraft and other RTX supported games look astounding. Note, Minecraft isn’t native so you have to load an RTX world, but when you do it’s mind blowing. Other games look beautiful, as well. Highly recommended.

The ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4060 OC Edition is an exceptional graphics card that offers a great balance of power and efficiency for gamers and creators alike. Equipped with 8GB GDDR6 memory and leveraging the latest technologies like PCIe 4.0 and DLSS 3, this card delivers outstanding graphics performance and smooth frame rates even in demanding games. The HDMI 2.1a and DisplayPort 1.4a provide versatile connectivity options for high-resolution displays. Additionally, the Axial-tech fan design ensures that the card stays cool while maintaining quiet operation, enhancing my gaming sessions without any distractions. The Aura Sync compatibility is a nice touch, allowing me to sync the lighting with other ASUS components for a cohesive look. Overall, the RTX 4060 OC Edition is a top choice for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming rig for robust performance and stunning visuals.

Upgraded my old PC build from a GTX 1060 6GB to this ProArt RTX 4060. Still need to do more tests, but even on an i7-6700 CPU I am seeing a performance benefit in gaming and video encode/decode times. Once I can upgrade the rest of the PC, I’m expecting a bit more out of it.
Not really going to comment on price as I got it discounted a fair amount, but you are getting a quality experience with the ProArt line. The card was covered in plastic peals, has a good heft, has a back plate, and overall is a clean classy looking card.
The quiet running of three fans and large heatsink are the main benefit because you likely won’t be seeing any additional performance over a two fan option.
On a side note Amazon placed the shipping label on the bare manufacturer box, which messed it up a bit but the GPU itself seems fine. Kind of odd and not great considering I plan to keep the box at least until the 3 year warranty is over.
The RTX 4060 and Nvidia in general are not a great value for money these days, but you get their unique features and a level of consistency to be expected with the leader in the market. So far it has been a drop-in solution as a replacement for my GTX 1060.
I’ll admit I bought this premium ProArt version on aesthetic and with the hope I can get many years of quiet reliable use out of it. So far so good!

Almost had a heart attack when I popped her in my new rig a there was no signal display for either monitor using DP and HDMI so I took it out and powered it on and it worked. I’m assuming I just needed to install the new chipset drivers and windows updates for the motherboard before I could power it up with the gpu because after that it worked. But I will say it did take like 5 minutes for the mobo to even recognize it was in there then it automatically booted up nvidia and let me get the latest drivers 😂 haven’t tested it all out yet but I’m excited to see what she’s capable of
Update edit- I’ve ran extensive test and after getting the msi afterburner settings correct she barely goes over 65°C while playing games like Fortnite, red dead redemption 2, and saints row 5 running at 1080p max high settings. With DLSS she gets about 80-92 solid FPS so I assume without it would be 65-75 which is still extremely playable. I have a 180mhz monitor so Fortnite I have set to 144 with DLSS and she still runs smooth with the upscale max high settings. This gpu is still worth it for the price point given how “old” it is. It was between this and the 4060 8gb vram I’m glad I went with this one as it still performs as I need it to !! Very satisfied

I own much more powerful cards, but this was for my HTPC for encoding videos and light gaming.
This gets great FPS on a 4k TV on medium settings. Max settings dont always look the best when sitting on a couch at a distance.
This is the best modern GPU option when comparing FPS per Watt.
Those that like lower electric billz, this is your option. AMD card in this price range are power hungry
Great for a sever or HTPC like my setup.
The ASUS cooler is the best of the budget coolers making this a no brainer when the price dips below 300.

Despite being large feels light performance is good but not impressive. Not a gamer this is all I need.
