This was purchased in December for the holiday season and there was quite a bit of confusion about the OLED in the name and which model might qualify. We purchased the larger 16″ and while it has a great screen, it’s not an OLED screen, but the resolution and quality is perfect for this size. We did a lot of research and considered many many 3-in-1 models and this was the best value and we’re pleased with the performance.
In general the laptop is very durable (love the hinge) and well designed. The air movement is well thought out with well located vents, and the ports are adequate. We did take advantage of the open SODIMM slot to add another 16g Crucial ram stick, and with that it’s able to run the games we want (Wolfquest) but probably not the high end ones we don’t play (Ark Survival Evolved) . It’s not a gaming PC, but it is very suitable for videos, Steam games and similar, and it really shines for graphic art like FireAlpaca.
We haven’t yet tried the stylus (kindof expensive) but in tablet mode with a fingertip, it works great.
Definitely recommend this is you have a user that is hard on laptops (especially the hinges) want a versatile machine that can tackle more than chromebooks, and are looking for a 3-in-1 model that handles both laptop and tablet mode really well.

Purchased Jan 2024. Crashed June 2024. After powering, goes straight to BIOS because SSD does not exist.
Contacted asus online, received rma and preprinted shipping label quick and easy.
Week goes by, receive email that it’s repaired and being sent to me. However, it’s being sent to my address, signature required. No description of what was wrong, no description of the repair, no option of where to send it because I have a job and won’t be home to sign.
So I call, it’s already on the way, the SSD was “broken”, it was either fixed or replaced (foreign call center), all my data is gone. Fedex won’t hold it at their location because asus specifically instructed them signature at my address, and asus foreign call centers are telling me to tell fedex to hold it.
So I’m out $700, all my data, and the computer is in a box somewhere and nobody seems interested in letting me have it back.

I wanted to love this computer, due to the screen size and touch screen, but straight out of the box, it will seize up, shut down, close out apps. The fingerprint scanner only works occasionally and mouse has issues intermittently unless I close everything and reboot. Not sure if I’m just trying to run it beyond its capacity, but my i7 handles these softwares with ease and this machine lags and malfunctions often and I’ve had it less than a month. Perhaps I have a faulty one or perhaps the processor can’t keep up with what I need it to do.

Se me hace una excelente laptop por el precio al cual la adquirí, la duración de la batería es decente a diferencia de algunas otras que tenido, que solo duran 2 a 3 horas para realizar tareas no tan demandantes como de office y esta me ha dado mas de 5 horas con teclado iluminado (No he medido la cantidad exacta de tiempo), su construcción es casi en su mayoría de aluminio con excepción de la tapa de abajo que es de plástico, la ventaja que tiene es que a esta si se le puede añadir una memoria RAM para poder hacerla de 16 gb, ya que algunas otras la traen soldada y eso lo hace casi imposible de actualizar.

Asus has been my go-to notebook company for well over a decade, as their notebooks tend to provide great value and solid performance. This is my second Flip, and I’m realizing how much I’ve missed the touchscreen functionality.
They seem to have corrected the biggest issue I’ve had with prior Vivobooks, which was the overly small charging barrel and connector. This has been a core failure point in past machines, but this one feels more sturdy and stable. Time will tell.
Overall, another great value PC from Asus. With RAM and m.2 drive costs being so low, I was able to drop a sliver more cash to improve the value even more.
