Description

  • Powerful PWM-controlled fan speeds from 300 RPM up to 1,300 RPM, pushing up to 45.4 CFM of air with 1.23mm-H2O of static pressure.
  • Utilizes anti-vortex vanes to direct airflow at your hottest components for concentrated cooling, whether used for intake, exhaust, or mounted to a liquid cooling radiator or heatsink.
  • A hydraulic bearing delivers long-lasting durability and minimal noise, as the 120mm fan blade spins as quietly as 24.7 dBA.
  • Stops the fan entirely when sent a 0 RPM PWM signal, completely eliminating fan noise.

Are these the cheapest 120 mm fans? No. Are they the best 120 mm fans? No. But they do look good in my case. If you’re building a black computer and want very little of other colors I can recommend these, they’re Corsair so they’re either going to work or going to be broken. On the plus side corsairs support is really helpful and they’ll replace anything right away. I can say these fans are just your everyday 120 mm, appropriately quiet and a bit overpriced.

I’ve been using the Corsair SP120 Elite in my PC setup, and it has been a game-changer for cooling efficiency. The CORSAIR AirGuide technology is impressive, directing airflow precisely where it’s needed. What I appreciate most is its near-silent operation, thanks to the hydraulic bearing – it’s barely noticeable even under heavy load. The build quality is robust, ensuring durability and reliability. Installation was a breeze, fitting perfectly into my case. If you’re looking for a high-performance, quiet, and reliable case fan, the SP120 Elite is a fantastic choice, worthy of a five-star rating.

Dad jokes aside, great little fan. My old pc fan kicked the can, so this one slotted right in and was a simple install.

Be sure to check your connections. My old old old pc case used molex connections for the fans. Lucky my motherboard had a connection for this one, so no issues.

I have many Corsair products on my computers. When I needed to replace some fans in 2 of my computers I felt very confident purchasing the Corsair fans. They did not disappoint, They are whisper-quiet and the only noise I hear from my computer is the slight hum of the two cooling pumps for my CPU and graphics chips. They are a little more expensive than other off-named brands but definitely well worth the purchase.

I’ve been using this particular 120mm fan for a couple weeks now and honestly it does its job exceptionally well! No RGB, nothing too spectacular, just a working fan that helps balance the air pressure for your system. I am currently using this as an exhaust fan, top side and it doesn’t make any noise while spinning in my PC. Perhaps the reason for it being so decently quiet is the fact the average speed is lower than my front and bottom fans, highest it can do is 1300 RPM. Pushing this fan at its top speed made no noticeable noise besides the sound of air being pushed around, or inside the case. I once set this up as a front fan as well and it did great in that position too. So whether you want this as exhaust or intake, I think it won’t let you down on either side. It is a fairly simple design and its plug-and-play ready. A great comparison would be the ASUS XF120mm, which I do own, and the only difference between the two is the ASUS is 500 RPM more, and $15 more. Both are great and can work together fine, but the Corsair seems easier to pick here. In the end, I just like this fan and it’s still in my case as I make this review.

This fan is very quiet. There is no discernable noise at half speed, very low air noise at full speed. Fan runs smoothly with no vibration or whine. 4 wire with connector for computer control. Use two wires for variable speed control outside computer.

My Corsair Case only came with two fans in it, so I ended up buying a couple. I was skeptical that a single fan could be worth $15, but this totally is. It’s extremely quiet and works really well. I was so impressed, I ended up getting an extra and having the whole front of my case using these.

    It’s worth the money.

I installed the Corsair SP120 Elite in my Corsair Obsidian 800D case, using a 3D-printed bracket to fit it into the front intake (replacing three empty 5.25 drive bays). It was the perfect choice. This fan works like a charm as a 120mm front intake, and its PWM functionality makes it easy to control with fan curves, allowing it to run as quietly or as powerfully as needed.

The SP120 Elite is impressively quiet, even when ramping up during heavy load. Plus, it fits aesthetically with the 800D, maintaining the sleek, high-quality look of the build. Overall, it’s an excellent fan that offers both style and performance for a custom build. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their cooling setup!
