Lian Li UNI Fan SL120 V2 RGB Black Triple Pack with Controller – UF-SL120V2-3B (V2)

Normally there are daisy chains for LED lights and fan functions, but for these you slide them together and apply a single cable at the end. It was pretty neat sliding them together and not having a cable mess, the fans themselves are pretty solid and fit in the case just fine. Temperatures are pretty solid and honestly do not hear very much noise.

Bought 10 fans for my Hyte Y70 build. These fans can link together and a linked chain can be connected to with just a single cable which is great. You can also control these via the L Controller 3 module, or use PWM passthrough capability of that module to let something like your motherboard or Corsair iCue AIO which is a nice feature. Even with 10 of these in my case, airflow is awesome and sound is low. Most importantly…these fans look amazing. The 5 and 3 packs come with a controller, the single fan packs do not. I have all 10 fans running off a single controller.

The only problem was I placed two orders for fans and had to cancel and re-order both because the first orders weren’t shipping out after a week or more, so beware who is the sold/shipped by on what you’re ordering and make sure it is Amazon.

Had one of my uni fans break a connection point for the LED bought this to put fans in the back of my case and replace the one that got damaged however they do not link together so we’ll have to buy another pack temperatures are great on high they are a little loud as you can hear they’re a little bigger in size than the last gen as always Lenny is easy to install airflow is great the downside is the new connection type is different than last yet so you will have to use the new hub but they’re beautiful and work fantastic

Nice and vibrant colors the software is bit of pain to get used to but it does let you customize to whaterver your preferences are. They connect perfectly with the 5 pack I bought just make sure that all your fans are v2 as the v1 are slimmer and not compatible with the v2. These push out greater air flow compared to the v1 and minimizes the cables that being said it does not elimate cables entirely and the fan controller is still needed and it still can become a rat nest if cables are not properly managed.

Let’s start off with that I was building my first ever custom built pc after previously owning a prebuilt pc for 3 years and obviously when building a pc, you need good airflow for it work at its peak performance always and so your components aren’t getting too toasty!

Now after having and installing these fans for 4 months, I have decided to finally write a review on them and let everyone know what they’re about of course… and LET ME TELL YOU, THEIR AMAZING, especially for beginner builders that do not want to mess with extra cables such as other brands like MSI, Corsair or even NZXT.

The daisy chaining functionality on them is extremely easy to do as all you do is click them together and boom, their connected and ready to be paired with, in my case, the included RGB hub with the 3 pack, which may I say, it’s extremely high quality and well built, however I don’t agree with them using adhesive to stick it to the back of your computer and not a magnet like most companies.

The color/colour (depending on which country you’re from lol), is extremely vibrant, bright and very beautiful, with many to choose from using the Lian-Li software and not to mention the shape of them is insanely unique.

The intake and exhaust on them are also extremely good, not to mention you can change the speed of the fans or certain ones while using the Lian-LI software.

Overall, the Lian-Li’s are definitely a solid choice for people that want to save time with cables, however the price is a little steep for around $30 a fan but I would say it’s well worth it in the long run as it seems like they will last for a long time too.
