    It is a nice RAM stick with good value. The height is very small, even with heat sink on. It fits under my huge NH-D15 cooler nicely.

    I received a version 5.40 of the stick, with Hynix MJR die. It did slightly better than the default XMP profile and can pass memtest at 17-20-20-37 CR1 with 1.35V and gear 1. However I cannot get it to stablize at 17-19 or CL16 at any voltage <= 1.50V. The stick can do 3733 but I can't find a stable voltage for that.

    A interesting thing with MJR die is it has a very high tRFC. The default value is as high as 550 ns. I can lower it to 305 ns, but making it any lower comes with a significant rate penalty. A tRFC lower than 290ns would lead to boot failure. The overall latency is relatively high. The benchmark result for my stablized profile is shown in the photo.

    Doubled my RAM from 16 GB CL 16 3200 to this 32 GB CL 18 3600 package and it works fine. It’s getting to the point where 32 GB is the norm now. I did have some minor complications installing it under the huge Noctua NH-D15 cooler, but all I had to do was temporarily remove the front fan, install the new RAM and then put back the front fan and it didn’t even have to be moved up to make room for these Vengeance modules as they are smaller. I’m happy.

    I upgraded from 16Gb to 32Gb and that ended some crazy ghost I was having in my computer. It now runs smooth and faster. Corsair is an excellent brand. There were less expensive RAM but I chose this as I have learned my lesson on trying to save money buying the cheapest of anything.
