Not sure if the memory or BIOS itself sets the initial speed, but stock it was set to 5600. After a few clicks in the BIOS wizard setting it to 6000, it runs perfectly with zero issues.

I didn’t want flashy RGB craziness on my RAM, or any other nonsense to deal with like height issues, so this is the kind of stuff I like to build with. I was a little leery of memory issues since so many people reported them with AM5 installs, but after verifying compatibility with the motherboard before purchase I installed it on a B650 Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX motherboard with a 7800x3D, and had zero problems. It booted right up first try, detected and went through POST faster than I expected, and then set the XMP profile to enabled to run it at 6000 without a hitch (if you buy the AMD labeled version use EXPO, but most motherboards work just fine with either and will detect the timings just fine).

Simple, fast, works great with no fuss, can’t ask for anything more than that when building a new setup.

Getting this RAM to run at 6000MHz was a piece of cake. But the videos on YouTube will have you think that it’s difficult or something. I’m using a GIGABYTE X670 AORUS Elite AX that I bought used through Amazon and it booted the first time (be sure to enable CSM if you can find it). No BIOS flashy-flashy. No nail biting. It takes about 30 seconds for the PC to post and start booting but I’ve yet to encounter a single nightmare. I got the idea to buy this RAM while watching YouTube. The guy seemed so confident that I decided to make a move. My machine is living proof that the CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 64GB is perfectly acceptable for the 7950X3D. Please note – I haven’t tried any overclocking or undervolting or BIOS updates or Ryzen Master. I can’t afford to brick my machine. I just needed Blender to move faster… please! Very happy with this purchase.

It’s Corsair. I’ve been using this brand in my builds for years. In this case I paired it with a 24 core Intel i-9 and an ASUS armor. I didn’t have to adjust anything and it’s the fastest system I ever built. I put Windows 10 pro on it, and Microsoft generously updated it (FREE) to Windows 11 PRO. I don’t care what anyone says, I love that company. Anyway, it works great and my daughter is happy, as I gave it to her. Her games and apps FLY! If she wants to use it as a digital audio workstation or CAD, she can… it’s amazing memory for a dream system that is absolutely silent.

Working well for my new build, actually built it twice, one for me, one for my wife.

    AMD Ryzen 5 7600
    GIGABYTE A620I AX

    Not a single problem.

Zero issues, running with XMP enabled with an AM5 CPU (ASRock B650M). Expensive for what it is but I figure that I won’t be changing/upgrading this for a long time.

Nothing glorious about RAM, you just hope it works, and these work. I had DDR4 3000mhz Corsair Vengeance RAM in the past too, so I know they are well made. 6000mhz CL30 is the sweet spot for me, and they work great.
