Description

  • 【Better Heat Dissipation】The two cooling fans work in push-pull-configuration to ensure more airflow transported into the heatsink. Thereby, dissipating the heat from the CPU more efficiently than normal.
  • 【2 PWM Fans】Dual 120mm PWM fan delivers Low-Noise for automatic speed control and ultra-quiet operation for extreme CPU cooling performance. Max. Air Flow: 76.16CFM; Noise Level: 15.2-35.2dB(A)
  • 【RAM Compatibility】Noninterference with memory mounting even in mini-ITX motherboards
  • 【5 Direct Contact Heat Pipes】5 direct contact heat pipes with exclusive direct contact Technology effectively provide excellent heat dissipation
  • 【Compatibility】The CPU air cooler supports most Intel & AMD sockets like Intel LGA2066/2011/1200/1150/1151/1155/1156/1700 and AMD AM4/AM5

My temps are averaging around 60c during full loads. My CPU hasn’t surpassed 65c even when playing Minecraft with full graphics and max render distance!

I highly recommend this CPU cooler and Heatsink, it has kept my temperatures below 50 degrees Celsius at idle and improved performance for my pc build. The metal clips were difficult to determine which way they clipped on, but other than that hiccup installation was straightforward. Installed on an AM4 Socket.

Installation was easy, and luckily it came with a thermal paste tube because I lost mine. Was using the stock cooler of the 5600x and the temperatures were hitting 90-95°C really easily when gaming. As soon as I installed this, I’ve never went above 70°C, it’s an amazing difference. The fan noise is definitely there when it’s ramped up but it’s nothing that really bothers me, especially when you have music playing. If you want a silent fan, you could always change it for a Noctua. Great cooler for the price!

Just received this cooler today and just finished install. Wow I’m impressed. I previous had ryzen 5 3600 with stock wraith stealth cooler, which did a good job at cooling. Idle temps were 53 c to 63c and gaming 75 c to 85 c (kind of high) but I live in a warm place. The issue I had with the stock cooler was the fan, it has a coiling sound and when the fan ramps up it quite loud. So I decided to try and find a decent cooler, I seen most of the name brands but they were $50 to $100 price range. Seen this one on sale for 22.50 and checked few youtube reviews and saw good results. Another reason I chose this cooler was the design, with the fan it doesn’t cover ram slots like other beefier coolers. I have rgb rams and didn’t want it to be blocked out.
Installation was pretty straight forward, it uses the AM4 backplate and a few brackets and screws. There is a youtube video of how to install, it’s a good watch before you do it. I used the thermal paste it came with, which seem adequate but will get artic 4 paste later. Currently my idle temps are 40 c to 49 c and gaming highest yet is 73 c, I’m amazed for this value cooler. The fan it comes with is pretty quiet and I don’t have anymore humming noise. The only con I say is the fan cable plug is pretty long for a cpu fan, it’s a standard fan cable length so you will have to do some cable management. I just wrapped it around the fan itself, hoping later on I don’t hear any rattling noise. It also comes with extra clips if you decide to add a extra fan on the other side for push/pull.
For the price, this is a steal and easy install. Huge improvement of the stock cooler.

This cooler has surprised me. Many reviews warned the installation was tricky, but I found it very easy and straightforward for AM4. The cooler is heavy, feels substantial and build quality is good. I opted for this cooler instead of the Cooler Master 212 Evo to save a few bucks on my build and glad I did! I installed this on a new Ryzen 5 5600X build, and so far, I have not seen the CPU temp higher than 47C. The cooler looks great, performs exceptionally well and is whisper quiet. Would definitely get one again if I needed one.

Lo uso para enfriar un Ryzen 7 5700x, va de maravilla con temps de entre 60 y 70 en gaming.

I bought the ID Cooling SE 224 XTS based on the Canucks review of budget tower coolers pointing out the high-polish base plate and overall quality. Compared to my old Cooler Master cooler the ID’s base plate really is impressive. At the current price the package is pretty amazing: a decent fan, plenty of hardware for both AMD and Intel CPUs, and good quality throughout. Mine is working well keeping my AMD4 3600 at ~32C idle. Installation: again, compared with my old Cooler Master cooler (with its rinky-dink lever clamp), the ID Cooling tower is fairly easy to install and once screwed down it feels solid. I suspect the reviews arguing otherwise may be trying to use the cooler in smaller cases; anything smaller than midtower ATX and you might need to resign yourself to pulling the motherboard to install the cooler. I installed this unit without pulling anything out, not even the GPU. No need for a long screwdriver, though having one made the job easier. Be sure to plug in the SE 224’s fan before beginning the radiator installation or you might be very sorry later. With my MSI X470 board I had to tape the cooler assembly back plate in place until screwing in the first screw of the ID Cooling replacement mounts. The instructions that cover this are OK up until the glaring omission of fan-to-radiator installation. Wire-thin spring steel clips hold the fan to the radiator (see photos), and assembling these would be horrible in a small case with mobo left in place; one side was tricky even in my large case. I can see why some users complain about the clips, but they do work.

At this price, this cooler is hard to beat. The CPU temperature is consistent staying below 50 degrees Celcius under heavy game (Assasin’s Creed Unity) load. The cooler installation was easy and quick on AMD Razen 5.
