    It’s a great tablet for the price, I’ve bought it to store and read my books. YouTube runs smooth and netflix as well even tho resolution is set to auto at 480p. Increasing to 720p or even 1080p does slow down the response rate but an acceptable level.

    The main reason I left this review was to show that even it’s an international model that only let’s you select middle eastern countries, if you have an android (not sure if it works with iphone) you can set the region to your current on initial setup. Select any region at start screen, then transfer your data from your phone, and the only thing you have to transfer is settings. AND VOILA!!!!!

    I am very disappointed in this tablet. I have 2 other Samsung Tabs. One is Tab A and the other is Tab E. Both 8 inch. This screen on this tablet is not as clear as the other 2 and since this is so new, I figured it would be a nice crisp clear screen and it is not. Also, I am not able to use my pens that should replace my fingers. The screen is not sensitive enough. I have tried to find a setting to make it more sensitive but I can’t find one. I only bought this to use for online shopping with amazon and walmart and a few card games because it has double the memory that my older ones have. I feel that I wasted my money. I find myself going back and using my old ones.

    I ordered a A7 Lite from another retailer on sale (WM) and it just wasn’t doing the job. After watching a few YouTube videos I decided I didn’t want to spend the extra bucks for the A9. Until I found this. Yes it’s Middle East, and after setting it up I can’t tell. NO ISSUES with set up. I picked UAE and that was it. Price was great, this tablet is faster, has more space, NO COMPLAINTS!! Fit and finish is up to par with my S8+, plays all my favorite games no issues, the A7 lite couldn’t. It just basically works very well. Speakers sound better than what the reviews claim. The face recognition works about 75% of the time. But I have a beard and long hair… My MS Surface gets it everytime…. Not a deal breaker. Anyway, So for a few dollars more you get 100% more storage, 25% more ram, and a better CPU and GPU… Win win in my book!! Fast, nice screen, sounds good, nice build quality… HAPPY

    Contrary to any bad reviews, I am thrilled with the purchase! It has a nice bright screen and runs fast and efficiently! It set up easy! It runs REAL DASH app perfectly and connected to my OBDLX bluetooth link flawlessly. I used to have an ONN tablet from Walmart and it was ok but it was buggy when it comes to shutting down. With this tablet you don’t even have to root it to make MACRODROID work on it to turn it on and off with the ignition. While the international mode of it does not recognize the USA, it really doesn’t matter. It runs the Google apps just fine with plenty of speed and no lag.

    Device itself works as could be expected, more and issue with the seller/Amazon bringing the rating down. The first version sent came with the tamper seal violated on the box, so I don’t know if it was unlocked. Replacement was sent promptly, but it is the middle eastern version, only options for location despite choosing US English are a list of countries in the Middle East and a lot of defaults are odd for this reason. Suspect it will work fine, but this is clearly not the “Unlocked” version advertised.

    I had the choice of a Samsung A7 (the only model available in stores in the US, as of June 2024), which after playing around with, I found to be slow and sluggish… Found this model online from a vendor in UAE, with a price point on par with the A7 in the US, so I decided to buy it…

    Works very well, almost as fast as a Samsung Tab S6 that it was replacing… It does everything I want it to do, from watch video to streaming content… The setup menu was locked to the Levante (SW Asia) region, but I was still able to set the tablet up in (US) English, and I don’t see any difference in operation or major app differences between US tablets and ones intended for other regions…

    For a small tablet, the sound isn’t bad, and although a little tinny, can push out sufficient volume. Video quality is fine for HD, although I have not tried playing a 4K movie yet (my guess is there would be distortive framing or sluggishness if I did)…

    Overall, for the price point, its a handy sized tablet with good functionality… Finding a case is a bit of a pain in the US, but found a good aftermarket option on Amazon…

    Yep, this A9 tablet comes properly sealed,brand new,flawless,with a 15w quick charger. Yep, it’s packaged for Asia, Middle East and Africa- but who gives a dang when all you do is pick English as your language,Fahrenheit instead of Celsius ,as you would be doing anyway, and then pick any country listed ( USA isn’t one of the options). I picked South Africa- doesn’t matter, the tablet automatically calibrates to your local time and then you just enter your local zip code for your weather forecasts.
    I got one delivered on 9/1/24 and now that I’ve verified all is good, I’m now going to order another so as to set up a two station wall mounted tablet monitor system (one for first floor, one for second floor) for a Reolink POE doorbell camera. Worked out the setup with this one A9, and now ordering the second. Android is the way to go for these doorbell systems.
