Redid the thermal compound on my older gtx2070. It was around 70-71 under load playing games, tried mx-6, but it didnt spread well. So i used m trusty mx-4. That brought to around 68 max under load. Tried out this TG extreme and then ran games for a bit..im down to about 66 max (maybe a few quicl spikes above) and idle load it drops to high 20’s.
The tips that come with it are supposed to help you spread, but i think they make it harder. I use a small plastic divider from a parts/jewlery bin and it does fine. It is a good consistency and is pink so you.see where it goes.

2g is not that much so make sure you are getting enough for your application. This was good for about 2 cpu’s and that was it. Thermals were great with it.

works well as before. my cpu is cooling well!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I haven’t found a paste with a higher heat conduction than liquid metal on the market! Excellent paste, easy to apply, great durability and definitely overclock ready! I’ve built PCs for different companies and only use this paste for the most reliable heat conduction!

I got this for my laptop originally, because my temperatures were absolutely insane. I do know that laptops (In specific gaming laptops) run way hotter than your traditional PC, however I was reaching temps in the triple digits and it was time to do something. I replaced my fans, and got this for the replacement of all of my thermo pads inside the machine. It was a good call, because I average temperatures that are at least 15 degrees cooler than what I was experience prior. This is a life saver if you’re attempting to get the longest possible lifespan out of your machine, for a limited price, and for laptop users, I’d say it’s a no brainer.

Very easy to apply and it comes with a spread tool. Works great and lasts a long time.

Pour a decent amount and find a spatula. That’s the easiest way to evenly spread it. This doesn’t come with a spatula btw. Used it on my Intel 9700k and rtx 2070 super. Can’t really say about any performance improvements because i didn’t do any before tests unfortunately. But the reviews for this paste is really positive so there’s that.

Troquei os termal pads (Pad Térmico Pcyes Nitrogen Pad Extreme, 100 X 50 X 1.0mm) e pasta térmico do PS4, o mesmo esquenta mas não ativa o cooler de refrigeração em potência máxima. Sensacional!

It always amazes me how just changing pastes can affect your temps so much. Anyway…
This stuff works great, I dropped temps by 8 to 10. I don’t like how it spreads compared to arctic mx-4, but if you’re just looking for results, this stuff will do the job well. I got about 5 years out of an application on a *heavily* overclocked ryzen 3400g before I checked it, and it probably could have gone for longer.
Short version: if you don’t mind fighting with thick thermal paste, this is the stuff you want. If 8c won’t break you and you’re lazy, stick with the MX-4.

A little pricey, but genius.
After a few months of crashing, I tried installing new paste on my GPU block because it’s hotspot temp was over 100. I also refreshed the CPU paste because I use water cooling and hate draining it. 3090 is running cool at 65 degrees and the 7800X3D dropped by 5 degrees as well.
