    I installed this hard-drive and installed Windows Vista 32 bit on an older model PC. Everything seemed good and the PC was setup for me to use later, so I turned it off. Today I need to set the PC up as a test NAS but I wanted to upgrade the OS to Windows 7 32 bit, so I turned the PC off and inserted the Win7 upgrade disc.

    Sadly, the hard-drive failed and I was right back to a PC that would start but would not post, same signs as the first hard-drive failure. Everything else in the PC is new and working fine, so yeah, it’s the hard-drive again.

    I’m paying for going so cheap on the hard-drive and will not make the same mistake.

    Do not buy this hard-drive!

    my pc blue screened twice after using this but after those 2 blue screens I stopped blue screening, has really fast download rate. I usually get like 80mbs on steam and it was able to achieve that. If youre looking for something good for the price, This is PERFECT.

    I really like the price and the dependability of these can’t be beat. I love the super fast delivery and good packaging. I clone my existing hard drives to these drives and then lock up the original drives in a vault. So far all these drives I am using are working as good as could ever be expected. I never do any extra large uploads or anything that has to be super fast; if I wanted super-fast I would get a solid-state drive (SSD). As far as storage goes, I believe the research shows that the old style HDD will keep your data secure for way more years than a SSD can at this time. I would not ever expect any HDD to boot any computer anywhere as fast as a SSD.
