    I got this because I have been having some foot pain and neuropathy. I have found red light therapy to be effective for these things in the past but I struggle to find a device that evenly applies the light to the areas that I’m treating.

    I set this up at the base of my couch so I can use it while I watch TV. It’s nice that it plugs directly into the outlet and I can move it a pretty good distance from the plug without much of an issue.

    It’s also a nice touch that the manufacturer included a pair of safety glasses. As people experiment more with red light therapy, not everyone knows that they need to wear these, so including them is a great nudge in the right direction.

    The only downside that I noticed is that when I’m watching TV with my husband, the red light isn’t contained, so it was a bit bothersome to him, and he didn’t have his own pair of protective glasses.

    I have used red light therapy on other areas of the body prior to using this footrest. It’s easy to set up & use. Instruction booklet is included. It can be adjusted by both intensity and time, depending upon your needs and time available. I’m going to use it daily when I’m on the computer, as it’s easy to place under my desk and the gentle rocking is soothing, as well.
