Justin Tulli –
I’m currently running a ryzen 9 5900x and it dropped my temps by 3-4c. For this price it’s great
Warranty and quality –
cumpre o que promete a um excelente custo
Works well –
I bought them because i’ve been using the HY510 and the temperature under high stress situations were about 80/85 degrees. Today i switch from it to the mx4 and it maintains the cpu temperature 75> under the same situations, i highly recommend it. (those temperatures are on Ryzen 5 1600 underclocked till 3.6Ghz)
Bruno Santos –
Been great for bringing some life back to a few of my electronics, with the included scraper it does help to spread & ensure good coverage anywhere it is needed. Also works well for gaming consoles & GPUs but most will use it for CPU coolers on PC. Of which it does very well for the price point.
If I need more, chances are very good I’d buy this stuff again, minus the scraper. For sure would recommend to others, especially gamers on a budget as well as those planning to clean up or re-use components like older CPUs and GPUs.
Update: it has been working great for my newest CPU to manage temps, and I have not seen any issues with degradation as of yet with 18+ months on a GPU I used some on last year. No issues with the other 4 or 5 applications tested, and still have about 1/2 of the tube left. Good value!

It was my first time assembling a PC and this thermal paste is really great.
Easy to apply and the spatula helps a lot
My processor stays under 45ºC for regular tasks and under 70ºC for gaming. With stock paste it was 55ºc and 85ºc
Really happy with this purchase.
A remarkable aspect of this paste is that is good for novice builder like me because is not hard like other pastes, so you don’t need to heat the tube.

I’ve used the MX4 for years and have been happy with it. It’s cheap, easy to apply, and works well medium powered cpus/gpus. It was always my go to. I just like it.
With today’s hotter and more power hungry parts, it has fallen out of grace. It’s just not as good. It works in most situations, but for money, there are better options.
For my high end parts I use Kryonaut. That’s for an RTX 3090 waterblock, 6900XT waterblock, 5900X, 3900XT.
I started to notice that it wasn’t quite as good when using it on an RTX 3090, the Temps were not too much better than the stock paste, and the clocks were not staying consistently as high as I hoped.
Going through the pain of tearing down the 3090 and repasting it led to the same results. Switching to Kryonaut saw significant performance increases and temp decreases.
Building in ITX cases with low profile coolers with an AMD 3900XT saw the MX4 fall in line with a lot of the other pastes. Just average.
I also got some Thermalright TF8 for cheap on Black Friday. It outperformed the other pastes like the MX4, MX5, Noctua, BeQuiet, Coolermaster, and some other stock pastes by a noticeable degree.
I’m in the process of building in 8 ITX cases with air cooling, and a 3900XT & A520I which doesn’t let me change voltage/ core clock speeds. With small coolers, tight spaces, and high wattage, you get to see what works, and what doesn’t.
I’ve been going through a lot of paste with all these builds, and testing out all the pastes I have.
MX4 performed on the average side. When the good paste TF8 kept the cpu from throttling, the MX4 and other pastes failed. They all crept over 90 C and the clocks dropped.
I still bought MX4 again as I like arctic fans and AIOs, but the paste has aged compared to the newer stuff that is made to handle the hungrier cpus and gpus.
It is better than the runny messy MX5. It cooled slightly better, but sure was a runny mess. I understand why Arctic discontinued it.
Better Options:
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut
Thermalright TF8
I’ll still use MX4 for repasting old GPUs and anything that doesn’t really get too hot, but there are better options now.
Pros:
It’s MX4. You know what it is, how it performs, and you like it.
It’s like a Honda.
Easy application and clean up.
Cheap
Cons:
Average performance.
Better options for more money.
Works well –
This brand is very highly recommended. I prefer the 4 to the 6 because it’s easier to use. The 6 is SUPER SUPER THICK and almost can’t come out of the syringe. The 4 is a lot easier to use. Recommend.

Great basic paste at a good price. Lasts for quite a few builds. Best used for desktop systems. Not great for anything direct die, but that’s what ptm 7950 and liquid metal are for.

My go to thermal paste for all my computer needs. This Artic mx-4 thermal paste works great for what I need it for.
Neutron Man –
Good thermal paste. Gets the job done. My son and I have used it on several GPUs and CPUs (new and old) and it works well. Stress tested several for days on end with no change in performance. How long with it last before it becomes dust? I suspect years but no empirical evidence yet.
I dinged it a star on easy to clean up but let us be straight forward. It is thermal paste. If you have worked with thermal paste before you know this stuff will get everywhere if you are not careful.
