Picked up this monitor a few weeks ago and it’s my first 1440p monitor. The colours and HDR look excellent compared to my 1080p ASUS monitor.
It came with everything I needed to get it set up, as well as multiple different cables to make sure it’s ready to go straight out of the box.
So far, no dead pixels or issues with it, and I’m enjoying seeing every game noticeably more clear now.
As stated in title, this is a great choice for those who want 1440p and a high refresh rate, but aren’t looking to spend an outrageous amount of money.

Me gusto mucho este monitor mejor mucho al momento de jugar, se ve más realismo

Great monitor. No ghosting whatsoever. Perfect image. Lots of settings

I recently added the ASUS TUF Gaming 31.5” 1440P HDR Monitor (VG32AQA1A) to my racing rig setup, and it has significantly enhanced my gaming experience. The 31.5-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 provides incredibly sharp and detailed visuals, which is crucial for immersive racing simulations. The 170Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time ensure smooth and fluid gameplay, eliminating any motion blur or ghosting, which is essential for fast-paced racing games. The HDR-10 support enhances the contrast and color accuracy, making the graphics look more lifelike and vibrant.
One of the standout features is the AMD FreeSync Premium technology, which synchronizes the monitor’s refresh rate with my graphics card, providing a tear-free and stutter-free gaming experience. The Extreme Low Motion Blur technology further reduces motion blur, making fast-moving objects appear sharper and more defined. The monitor’s robust build quality and adjustable stand allow for easy positioning, ensuring optimal viewing angles during long gaming sessions.
Overall, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG32AQA1A is a fantastic addition to any racing rig, offering top-notch performance, stunning visuals, and essential gaming features that enhance the overall experience. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a serious racing enthusiast, this monitor is a great investment.

I bought this monitor to upgrade from another ASUS display that I bought 9 years ago (ASUS MX259H 25″) which is still alive and kicking.
First off the picture quality seems excellent. It has the low blue-light features that I need for work, and for gaming the response times are great, as is the picture quality (after a few adjustments). The step up from 1080p to 1440p is extremely noticeable.
I’ve had no dead pixels, and noticed no light bleed. There is slight IPS glow (which is normal) but it is some of the least noticeable I’ve seen on any IPS display I’ve owned. Brightness maxes out at 250 nits, which may not be bright enough for a true HDR experience, but it’s otherwise plenty in my opinion. I use this in a room with a lot of sunlight and have no issues. I’m pretty thrilled with the image quality.
I used the VESA mounting holes to put this on a stand and had no issues whatsoever on that front. They were easily accessible.
My main knocks on this display are that the stand lacks much in the way of adjustability (if you plan on using the included stand) and the OSD (on-screen display) for changing settings is a bit cumbersome. Everything is controlled by 4 buttons and a small joystick on the back of the right side of the monitor. It works well enough, but everything takes longer than it would if there were labeled buttons on the front of the screen, or even just some menu shortcuts. For example, what should be simple tasks like changing the speaker volume or switching HDMI inputs take clicking around far more in the menus than they should. That’s all that keeps this from being a 5-star display for me.
I got this on sale but even if I paid MSRP this would be a great display for the price.

It is a fantastic monitor for the price, but the stand is not very handy and adjustable. But you can buy a cheap and more versatile stand to make it even better.

I decided to purchase this as a replacement for a damaged monitor that was supposed to be serviced. The picture quality is great at 1440p. The sRGB looks fantastic. HDR is a plus. It’s a GSync compatible, and has FreeSync Premium. Those with NVidia or AMD gpu’s will reap the benefits.
The 180hz is great for high framerates. I recommend this if you want smooth gameplay.

I’ve been a PC gamer for a decade now, and I’ve luckily only had two monitors during that span: a 1080p 60hz LG and this one. I didn’t know I was missing out on the absolute clarity and incredible picture quality of this monitor. It also has a great response time, easy to navigate settings, and it also gets super bright! Well worth the money for those who want a very good 1440p monitor!

It has a lot of settings to tweak and a good interface, you can switch inputs, full rotation is nice. My only issue is that its hard to find correct settings to use for color. Every reference online for help is for a different but similar monitor and they don’t match up. But this is just me lacking the knowledge on how to properly set them myself. Besides that it looks amazing, no dead pixels, and Im a fan of the semi-gloss finish. No glare, but there is a slight gloss that makes the image clarity pop

Very good 1440p monitor, includes speaker, nice and sharp image, plus lots of settings to fiddle with to adjust to your liking.
