I use it as a second monitor to assist my Asus ProART and for the price, I have nothing to complain. I use it for WEB, and other simple work and it is perfect!

I’m using this Sceptre monitor as my main monitor, primarily for remote work. I also have two other Sceptre monitors at my workplace, so I’m quite familiar with the brand. This monitor is reliable, handling about 10-12 hours of use daily. It’s proven to be very durable. The higher refresh rate syncs well with my MacBook, so there’s no lag on the screen. It also features some RGB lights on the back, which add a fun touch if you’re working in the dark. The monitor supports both HDMI and DisplayPort connections. However, it doesn’t come with an HDMI cable, though a DisplayPort cable is included. Note that you can’t use monitor holders with this model as there are no compatible screw holes on the back. Overall, I’m really happy with this product.

UPDATE 4: The issue seems to have resolved itself after a few hours. Still concerning, but all good.

UPDATE 3: Less than a year and this monitor developed issues.
First, periodically when going to sleep mode or waking up from, the monitor would flash solid colors, RGB, I’d have to turn off the monitor for the screen to go back to normal.

The monitor was in sleep mode, nothing was touching the PC and it sometimes comes on for no reason, this time it came on with the bright stripe and what seems to be a comic like dot-matrix pattern.

It’s truly disappointing that it turned into a lemon in just 10 months. Will see if it’s still covered under warranty.

This monitor is absolutely FANTASTIC, but it’s not perfect!

Update 2: I switched to an AMD Radeon RX 6900XT. Here are the settings that I use for the monitor.

In Radeon Settings under the Display tab and then Custom Color

    – Custom Color: Enabled
    – Color Temperature Control: Enabled
    – Color Temperature: 6500
    – Brightness: 48
    – Hue: 0
    – Contrast: 72
    – Saturation: 142 (You can set this to your preference)

    Settings on the Panel itself

    Picture
    – Backlight: 40
    – Brightness: 20
    – Contrast: 51
    – Preset: User
    -DCR: Off
    – Sharpness: 50

    Color
    – Gamma: 2.0
    – Tint: 50
    – Saturation: 52
    -Blue Light Shift: Off

    System
    – Overdrive: On
    – Adaptive Sync: On

UPDATE: I think I have found the perfect settings. Again, there is such a thing as panel variance so your mileage may vary. Note, when you make these changes, and you decide to turn on adaptive sync/G-Sync it may mess with the Nvidia color settings, just move any of the sliders in the desktop color settings and apply to ring it back.

    Nvidia Control panel:
In the Adjust Desktop Color settings:
    – Brightness 32
    – Contrast 30
    – Gamma 1.56 (can be lower if desired)

    Monitor Settings
    In the Picture settings:
    – Backlight 80
    – Brightness 20
    – Contrast 50
    – Preset User
    – DCR off
    – Aspect Ratio Full
    – Sharpness 50
    – MPRT Off
    – Multi Window Off

    Pros
    – Amazing colors! Colors pop out very well, again, similar to OLED. I work on a 4k OLED screen on my laptop for work so I can definitely tell if it’s closer to OLED or not.
    – Refresh rate is smooth as butter. Now this isn’t a huge jump for me since I came from a 144hz monitor previously, but there are two additional features that make this refresh rate smoother.
    – G-Sync capable…but not officially rated for it. That being said, I tested with the Nvidia G-sync demo and it works!! You can enable it in the Nvidia control panel, and while the difference is small, it makes an overall smoother impact to gameplay.
    – Response time are snappy, this, with the above mentioned, makes FPS games like Destiny and Doom such a pleasure to play. It’s like gliding on a polished floor coated in oil and butter lol. Make sure to turn on overdrive for this to work.
    – Size! The 32 inches makes a difference in immersion
    – Resolution. I came from 1080p ultrawide (2560×1080) and I didn’t think making the jump to 1440 would be that huge but man, EVERYTHING looks crispy, clean and clear, especially games.
    – Price! At $270 (at the time of purchase and with no sales tax) this is a high end monitor at low end prices!

    Cons
    – The brightness…..oh the brightness!! This thing is too darn bright for it’s own good. I’m trying to find a good balance on the configurations between the Nvidia control panel and the monitor settings, getting there but I haven’t found it yet.
    – Blacks are too dark. I’m still playing with the settings but in games or movies, where there’s dark areas, it’s a bit too dark and it’s hard to make out any detail, even when turning up the brightness.
    – Backlight LEDs, not bright enough to reflect of the wall. They might as well not be there so I just turned them off.

When I find the perfect settings, I’ll share them, but keep in mind panel variation, so your mileage may vary.

Was having a weird issue where half of the screen was brighter than the other after a while of having HDR enabled.
Other than that, it was a nice monitor while it lasted.

The picture quality is good, no noticeable ghosting and the response time is equally unnoticeable and so excellent.
The colors on this monitor are definitely a bit more saturated but what this leads to is neon lights and bright colors to look fuller and to pop out more which I think looks really nice and should be how they should look.
The HDR setting at this low of a brightness isn’t too impressive, I barely notice a difference if there even is one but it is nice to know that technically this monitor has HDR.
Another feature of this monitor that’s nice to have but is halfbaked are the speakers since the speakers are awful. No bass, all mids, low quality, low volume, but you’re most likely not going to be using them anyways so they’re just kinda nice to have.
Yet another feature that’s nice to have is the RGB lights that are on the back of the monitor. You will almost never notice them especially if you have the monitor against a wall like I do and especially since the LEDS aren’t all that bright, but hey: you got cool lights on the back of your monitor that you can change the lighting effects of one time when you first get the monitor so that’s cool.
Another feature of this monitor is the stand but what makes this feature different from the previous ones is that this one is actually quite good. The stand does have a little tilt forward and a fair amount back and it can swivel side to side a good amount but what’s most impressive is that the screen can be flipped vertically which may not seem too useful for most but for me, reading comics on PC has never been better especially since the resolution of the screen is 1440p so I can take in all those small details which I may have missed before.
Oh, and speaking of 1440p, this was my first 1440p monitor (excluding the previous one I bought which I disliked greatly and promptly returned and bought this one to replace because of the terrible ghosting), and I have to say that the increased resolution isn’t too noticeable at a glance (I wouldn’t upgrade to 1440p if you don’t have the power or money for it and I’d rather focus on getting a 120hz or more 1080p monitor first) but if you pay attention you’ll notice that everything is more clear and just simply prettier and that the pixels are far and few in-between. 1440p and this monitor have been a real treat to me so far and I would highly recommend getting this monitor as it is great and great for the price.

High quality monitors for work from home.
I have 2, attached to articulating arm mount and they are wonderful. Very bright, clear and work well. Plug and play as expected. Hard to find a 2K monitor at this price point, but these are great. The higher refresh rate is a plus as well. The thing bezel makes putting 2 side by side a big plus.

It has excellent image quality provided you stick with the SDR visual mode, the colours really pop for an LCD screen, which amazed me. It also has amazing response times, great low input lag, next to no ghosting, and also great variable refresh rate (VRR) support for both PC and consoles.

Now, the bad: It has terrible muffled speakers, very limited RGB that barely lights up, an audio jack with meh quality (use your computer’s instead) and a bad HDR implementation (makes the screen gray). I think all of this can be forgiven given the price and it’s not a big deal since there’s a workaround for every single nitpick. Except RGB, which isn’t exactly a deal breaker to me. — This is a wonderful product for gamers especially! You get a lot of value for your buck.
