This Corsair power supply has got to be the best PSU I have ever worked with In terms of Bench Testing a PC. The Modular Design lets you only plug in what is needed to make the system work, which allows you to avoid unnecessary clutter of unused cables unlike traditional PSU’s. if i apply the concept of this power supply to building a PC, the Cable Management will be much easier as you will have extra space to store excess cables and can retain the unused cables in your box outside of the case until needed.
During bench testing of my new system which contains the following parts:
    – ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero
    – AMD 7900X 170 W
    – Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5
    – Gigabyte Nvidia RTX 3060 12G
    – Crucial T700 2Tb Gen 5 PCIe M.2
    – Micron 500 Gb Gen 4 PCIe M.2
    – RM1000e PSU 1000 W

I was able to boot, and bench test (Cinnebench 2024) my system and this Unit didn’t spin the cooling fan up once for the first 5 minutes of the test. Once the fan kicked on it was so unbelievably quiet. My current system has an EVGA 650W power supply in it and that thing sounds like a leaf blower sometimes. The Corsair PSU functions in a “Zero RPM” state only spinning up when needed and the fan is so quiet you cant really tell when its on unless you are looking at it.

I plan on Building y system once my case arrives, and will update my review about installation and cable management, and include a few pictures to boot. I Ordered Corsair Pro Sleeved cables for my build so I will not be using the stock cables in my final build, however I did use them for bench testing and I can say that the stock cables are nice, flat ribbon cables with a durable exterior coating. They are flexible yet sturdy, and can be easily Cable Managed with zip-ties and Velcro straps. Overall first impressions i would Definitely recommend this to people who need a great power supply with intuitive modular cable management for cases like the Corsair 4000.

It’s a power supply. If it provides completely stable power, is quiet, and you don’t have to think about it after installing it, it’s great.

This one is completely stable, is quiet, and easy to install. Including 12vhpwr in the box was a nice touch, and it’s a lot nicer to work with than the Nvidia dongle that comes with the 4k series GPU’s. Not much else to say about a power supply.

No real cons to this one other than it’s a little stinky out of the box and for the first couple of days you use it. I assume it’s the powdercoat they painted it with rather than the scent of raw power, but it lasted a day or two in a high airflow case. Captain Stinky here has been rock solid since I first booted up the system I powered it with, though, so it’s not much of a complaint.

PSU, does what it needs to do supply power, reasonable price. Only complaint is the cables out of the box while not terrible are not very flexible at all. Replace with the Type-4 Sleeved Cables much better.

This power supply is excellent. It’s quiet and performs reliably, which is exactly what you want from a PSU.

It does its job without any fuss, and I’ve had no issues with it so far. If you’re looking for a dependable and silent power supply, this one is a great choice.

when my old noname psu started to make trouble,
i did some research, mostly at cultist’s psu tiers list and have chosen this psu – tier a, available and most reasonable price, (750w, atx 3.0 & pcie 5.0 for future proof for some planned midrange rtx 5000 gpu)
until this psu arrived i used some replacement psu (tier f) from computer lab guy .
replacement psu was actually new one with box.
so essentially i have experienced using 2 new out of the box psu recently.

i write all this to talk about coil whine.
f tier replacement cpu started quiet and after 1 hour loud coil whine began. i had just turn off pc at night. i didn’t really care because i knew it was a temporary one.
interestingly, after 1 week of coil whine – it mostly disappeared and tier f psu worked almost silently.

after this cpu arrived – it had similar coil whine pattern: start silent, then some period of coil whine, than silent. probably because it’s tier a – coil whine period was much shorter – 2-3 days.

so people complaining about coil whine probably should give a psu some chance before rma.

except that, psu is just working (now it’s 1 week since installing). my general load is way below 750w, probably less than 20% of it, so psu fan is just idle not spinning – best outcome for silence.

I ordered this psu to go in my gaming pc and it works great. I’m very glad i went with the modular options as there were many cables I didn’t need and the slots that are provided give me the option to do upgrades in the future (for example more hard drives). Overall, great product, sturdy, and it gets the job done. I highly recommend it.

Un buen producto, mi fuente de poder alimenta un i9-13900k y una 3060 además de un enfriador de 360mm con pantalla sin problemas, es muy confiable y hasta el momento no a presentado ningún problema.

Been running this PSU for 2 months now and it runs quiet and came with all of the cables needed for my pc to run a PNY 4080 Super. Length of cables were just right when running it in the Lian Li Dynamic Evo RGB mid tower case (which is basically a full size case) but I would have liked to see them be a little longer. All in all buy this if you want something quiet and powerful.

You already know the name is quality. Corsair has earned its reputation of being quality equipment by making good, durable products. This PSU is easy to install and worked great. The included cables are all matching and look good inside my case. Modular design is a must have for me at this point. Cables are long enough to allow for hiding. Great PSU. Can’t hear it run.
