I could do without the emoji crap and wish there were normal keys to replace them with but I like the color, style and Bluetooth functionality. Awesome keyboard.

I usually use an apple keyboard. I especially like the one I got with my iMac that has touchID. It is great to type on. I’ve been reading a lot and hearing from some co-workers about mechanical keyboards, and I used to us older keyboards back in the 80s with a similar key travel and feel.

I love the experience of using this keyboard. So much so that I have all but retired my Apple keyboards. The round keys are great, remind me of the typewriter I first learned to type on. The colors match my favorite NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the sound makes it feel like typing is a real thing again. So much nicer than the others. I use the Logi Options+ app on my mac, and use the keyboard with my work MacBook Pro, my iMac, and my iPad Pro.

All right there on my desk. It’s an amazing experience.

Higher recommend. The ONLY shortcoming, is that it takes a week or two to get used to the extra column of emoji keys on the edge. Since they have no difference in size or shape from the other keys, it’s easy to get out of home position.

But I adjusted quickly.

I recently changed my keyboard from the NuPhy Air75 to this one because I liked the additional features of the emoji keys and its wireless USB dongle option (I was using my NuPhy in wired mode). I also liked the rounded keycaps, which gave the keyboard an excellent retro typewriter style. They felt and sounded reasonable enough, but it wasn’t until I got the keyboard that I realized they were not up to my standards.

The original keycaps that came with the keyboard turned out to be made of an unknown plastic (the material does not say if it’s PBT or ABS) and used what seemed like tiny stickers for the characters on the keys, which would inevitably fade and wipe away over time. It is a disappointing prospect, especially considering the price of this keyboard.

The good news is that the switches appear to be standard browns, compatible with other style keycaps, including superior double-shot PBT ones, which I have applied to my keyboard.

The keycaps may leave much to be desired. Still, the ability to completely customize the function and emoji keys, along with the satisfying feeling of the mechanical switches, not to mention the fantastic battery life and overall heft of the keyboard body, makes this a viable option for most keyboard enthusiasts (I don’t know how well it holds up to gaming).

If you decide to get one yourself, make sure you also get a different set of keycaps to go with it, and make sure the keycap set has a size 6U spacebar. I’m still looking for one myself.

I have a computer desk with a very small keyboard shelf. I’ve tried various compact keyboards but most didn’t last more than a few months or were so compact that they were uncomfortable to use. This keyboard fits the space perfectly but still feels like a big keyboard. I love the feel of the keys, and the cheerful yellow color.
