The media could not be loaded.
I don’t know what’s going on but I plug it into my cctv system reset the system and it did not pop up in the harddrive section so I can format it to the cctv so I plug it to my external unit to my computer and nothing is showing and I reset both unit several time to see if it would work but still nothing, worst part I can’t even send it back or ask for refund because I live it the Caribbean

I purchased this HD for an NVR and the install was simple and straight forward. Bolted right up to the existing housing. Formatting was a breeze and seems like a great value for the $ so far.

Smartctl reports 5400 RPM. If I wanted 5400 RPM I would have ordered one. Seems to be relabelled Seagate.

The only reason for this review is to possibly counteract some of the negative reviews. I was almost convinced by those reviews to not buy this hard drive. My previous experience was good so I tried it anyway. I am glad I did. As before, the hard drive arrived on time and was well packaged. (That was good because of the rough ride it had getting here.) It was an easy install and it worked perfectly.

Haven’t really used it that much, so I can’t speak to the durability of the product, but it seems well built and the SATA connections are tight, but not too tight. Quick product delivery too. No problems with reading or writing data. I use it as an external backup drive. Great value for the money.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this product after others posted their difficulty in installing. I had this installed, up and running in less than 15 minutes. Hard drive was recognized immediately. In the short time I’ve had it, I have not encountered any issues. I’m using this merely for large file backup. My SDD is primary drive. I recommend this product and would buy again if needed.
