I recently purchased the Anker Surge Protector Power Strip, and it has proven to be a solid investment for both everyday use and extra protection for my electronics.
Pros:
Ample Outlets: With 12 outlets, it’s perfect for anyone with a lot of devices, whether in the office or at home. I was able to plug in my entire workstation (monitor, computer, phone charger, and more) without running out of space.
USB-C and USB Ports: The addition of 1 USB-C and 2 USB ports is a great convenience, especially for charging my iPhone directly without needing an extra adapter. It simplifies things and reduces cable clutter.
Surge Protection (2100J): This provides peace of mind, especially during storms or power surges. The 2100J rating is more than enough to protect my valuable electronics.
Sturdy Build: It feels durable and well-built, unlike some cheaper surge protectors that seem flimsy.
Long Cord: The cord length is generous, allowing me flexibility in placement.
Cons:
Bulkier Design: While the outlets and features are excellent, the unit itself is a bit bulky. It may take up more space than a standard power strip, which can be an issue if you’re trying to fit it behind furniture.
USB Charging Speed: The USB ports, while convenient, don’t seem to charge as fast as I’d like, especially when compared to dedicated fast chargers.

After trying several surge protectors/power strips, I found this to be the most reliable. In fact, I’ll be ordering a “backup” one for future use, since it’s so difficult to find that one that’s “just right”. One thing worth mentioning is that there are 12 outlets for ordinary plugs; however, if you have the larger plugs, I found that spacing does become a bit of a problem in that their width takes up more space and overlaps the adjacent outlet(s). Just keep that in mind when ordering. I currently have 3 large plugs and 3 regular plugs in it, which has left room for only two outlets available for regular sized plugs. Regardless, it is an excellent product.
