Customer Review –
I’ve tried another HDMI Transmitter and Receiver, and this is far more simple and much easier to setup and use. And much less expensive, too.
The two small items are easily paired, and transmission quality is excellent. You can set this up, literally, in less than 2 minutes max. Configuration is that easy.
Before you buy, however, make sure this serves a purpose that you need. It’s pretty much just a screen mirroring device; it serves much the same purpose as Chromecast or any other casting device, though it is much easier to set up. It transmits a high quality image of what is on your computer screen.
Good tool at a very good price, and I highly recommend.

Review for: Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver,100ft/30m Range, 1080P, 2.4G/5G Plug & Play Portable HDMI Streaming for Laptop & TV Box Seamless Video & Audio Display (1 Transmitter & 1 Receiver).
I got these to connect my NAS to my living-room TV. They are in different rooms, about 30 feet apart, with 3 or 4 walls. They connected, but lost connection after a couple minutes. I messed around with them and could get them connected, but they wouldn’t stay connected. I had both powered with the included power supplies. I did finally used the included short HDMI extension cable to move the transmitter out from behind my NAS, and then they stayed connected. The signal couldn’t go through the NAS and the walls reliably. They use 2.4G and 5G signal, which are known to be affected by obstructions. So it was not surprising they had issues staying connected. The receiver does show an image on the TV screen, so you know it is working. It also will show information when the receiver is in pairing mode. I paired them, when I was trying to get them to stay connected. I couldn’t test the lag since the TV is the only display for the NAS.

I have read other reviews of this product and agree that the Video Functionality of this Wireless HDMI transmitter is awesome — perfect transmission.
Ironically the term Wireless – – is just that you do not have to run an HDMI cord from one spot to the monitor receiving – – but the transmitter and receiver DO require AC power. The kit comes with the power blocks and cables required to do this – -but if you were looking to broadcast to say an outdoor environment – you will need a power supply on both ends.
This is great for a PowerPoint presentation or displaying your travel photos – – however I have not been successful with Audio transmission.
According to the specification: ‘that is smooth and richly colored, delivering stable sound” – – which leads me to believe that sound should also transmit – but it DOES not do that for me. I transmitted from my laptop to a TV in another room with perfect audio – – but was unsuccessful in making any PC changes that would transmit the audio. I may try to see if I can get a DVD player to transmit video and audio – – but I was seeking to run my Audio/Visual Halloween programs to a projector screen outside my house – but without Audio – it does not meet my requirements.
The limited instructions provided do not indicate how to resolve Audio issues.

I have the need to display a camera that has an HDMI output remotely. Cabling is not an option unfortunately. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this set came not only with the USB A to C cables needed to power the adapters (all wireless adapters need some form of power), but also came with the AC adapters. I was even more pleased, though I saw in the pictures, that this set contains adapters for Mini and Micro USB. It even includes an 18″ HDMI extension which makes using these easier.
Mine came pre-paired as expected and after about 10 seconds of being powered on, connected and displayed a very stable image. I don’t have that much distance to cover – about 40′ line-of-sight but it works very well at that distance. Very happy and the price is reasonable, especially considering all that is included.

I remember purchasing an HDMI transmitter for the company conference room. and it was incredible expensive and was failing all the time.
Is really plug and play, no app needed. Well thats how most of the transmitters works.
One of the biggest improvements is that the receiver will cast a still image, when there is no connection from the transmitter. Why this is great? because most of the time you dont know if is the tv, a wrong, HDMI, o the transmitter, or your computer.
Now, you can easily find the correct HDMI input, since the receiver will show an image if is not connected to the transmitter.
Then you can troubleshoot. with half of the issues tested already.
BTW, my tv has an “HDD” usb, that means that port has like 1 or 2A output over the other ones. SO I didnt need to use the provided power supply, and my laptop also has 2A usb ports so no issues there. But be aware, that most of the issues that you may have is because low power input.
If your tv does not have an HDD usb port, or a port with 2A output, is better to use the external usb power supply that comes with it. or you may encounter lag or disconnections.
Same apply on transmitting computer. It came with USB A to type C cable. most computers that comes with type c port support 2A or more, so you may want to use a type-c to type-c cable to ensure enough juice for the transmitter.
What would be better than this adapter? one that the transmitter is type-c directly, like display over type-c. most modern computers and most cellphones are type-c.

These HDMI dongles work great. They take a few seconds to connect when I turn the TV on, but otherwise work stellar. I have my two devices about 40 foot apart with a few walls and a floor between them and the signal is perfect with no artifacts or dropouts. The USB power port is sort of in an annoying spot as it makes the device stick out further than it could have if the ports were on the side, but oh well it doesn’t affect how it works.
