  2. Fake Name

I am using this for security camera system NVR. It is installed in LR, but I can hear the head motors grinding throughout the entire house.

I picked this up as a budget option to slide into my old, originally from my childhood, PS2. There’s a lot of literature about compatible Hard drives, and people going wayyyy overboard with an SSD (PS2 can’t give you SSD speeds since it’s on ancient tech). So when I saw this 2TB budget option for something that may not even work, I had to try it out.

Crazy thing is, this no name HDD works perfectly in my hacked PS2. 4 out of five stars, just because I can’t speak to reliability/durability/longevity yet. I’ve only had it a couple months

Drive makes a loud ticking sound when writing. Started doing this within 10 hours. Do not trust any important data to this drive.
