    I’m not sure how I feel about this item. I guess I have a love hate relationship with it. I bought it because I work with cameras and needed to be able to access my sd card from my phone on the go. however, when I plugged it into my phone the connection wasn’t so great. it kept disconnecting so I couldn’t find wasn’t able to connect to see my files. I plugged it into my iPad and didn’t face similar issues. I could find it with ease and rarely had any trouble with it.

    I’m so glad I purchased this card reader especially since the other ports on my desktop are always occupied with the headphones and the camera. And, now I can download my SD cards from my trail cameras since my new computers don’t have the SD expansion slots anymore. Great little product, so glad I purchased it and it’ll be in use for some time.

    I’ve been using the lightning connector with iPhone and USB with laptop and its great but got a new iPad with USB-C connector and IT DOES NOT work at all; the USB-C is slightly off in size so it fits loosely and doesn’t connect so it’s useless with my iPad Air.

    Update: this company reached out to me through email and gave a full refund with apology (didn’t even contact them; responded to my review)—very courteous and awesome customer support so although my item seems to have had a defect in one of the connectors, because of the fantastic customer service I would recommend this seller for such excellent service. And the USB hub I bought from them was about a year ago so hopefully they have updated it but if not there is the security of an immediate refund (in my case, not even a return necessary).

    I’ve been using this with my IPAD Air 3rd Gen for a while now and it works great I havent had any issues what so ever using flash drives or memery cards to transfer data and photos. I also use it to connect my Podtrak when doing remote recordings.

    Pros:
    Connects everytime
    Small footprint in my bag
    Easy to use

    Cons:
    Wish they offerd different colors.

    It’s nice a little cheap but that’s to be expected for the price I went to put a micro sd in and it slipped under the part where it’s supposed to clip in and it would’ve gotten stuck if I didn’t notice it was wrong
