So with the really broken instructions I couldn’t get this to charge properly and work. The idea is great but I think I’ll stick to good old fashioned baking soda to deodorize my refrigerator

I put this this in for an hour in the fridge and then move it to the freezer for an hour. It works SO WELL!!

This arrived from the vendor tamper evident shrink wrap sealed in a nice branded box.
Everything was well protected in a form fitting box, & they included a mini manual, a power cord, & a zip lock bag where you could place food or other items in along with your “deodorizer” if you wanted to use it separate from going inside your refrigerator.
The instructions are a bit lacking, but essentially you can activate the device for several set periods — then either use the zip lock bag or place it in a room or an appliance like your refrigerator.
When you select a time unit to run (say 10 minutes or 30 minutes), that setting will stay in memory if you don’t interrupt a future cycle. In that way you could use this in a home bathroom to cleanse smells after using the toilet (without needing to spend lots of time cycling thru timer choices): just press the power button until the timer lights & sit the unit down, exit & close the door. The next time do the same until you need to recharge the device.
For something like a refrigerator, I’d prefer the timer have a repeat option, not need to be manually engaged every day. Most of us would want our refrigerator to be refreshed daily, not just when we happen to think about it.
The performance is lackluster for these types of devices because it is so low powered. That means you can use this in what they call a “confined space”. So to get any milage out of this unit it needs to be a very small bathroom, a closet, a refrigerator or using the provided zip lock bag. The output from the device is just a trickle & the fan doesn’t push much air, larger rooms or spaces won’t get any real benefit.
I’ve had dozens of these types of units over the years. This one is well constructed but just not very useful. For small spaces it is a passable product, but most of us could use a product capable of tackling a room like a bedroom in between folks having the flu or colds, not just pieces of it you can fit into a plastic bag.
I would not buy such a limited scope device again, I’d wait for a device capable of handling bigger areas & with a repeatable cycle so you could place it in an area & forget it.

My wife has had an interest in a refrigerator deodorizer. She likes baking soda but has seen ads for these. I got this one thinking it would be good. It didn’t really work but after reading about an ozone deodorizer, I am not disappointed. I read a lot of articles saying they are dangerous so I was glad we didn’t try it any longer than we did. I will not be recommending any type of ozone deodorizer.

excellent for fridge

I was very skeptical about this working to eliminate smells, but it actually does. I line the multiple time lengths that it can be set for and that it recharges by USBC cable. The directions are simple and easy to follow which is great.
The cubic footage this will work on is small, but considering all factors, it’s a valuable item.

My refrigerator smells freshly cleaned even though we constantly store raw fish. If that is not convincing enough for you, it is for me. This is a great product.

What can I say? Its one of those devices that I didn’t need until I had it – now I can’t live without it.
The device is cordless / rechargeable and sterilizes the air in the fridge using ozone. It ships with a USB-A to USB-C cable – I appreciate that it uses the latest USB-C charging cable. It also comes with a sterilization bag for individual or small items. Simply charge for around 2 hours, turn on, and put it on the isolated area you wish to sterilize, then ventilate for 10 min before breathing in the sterilized air. This has been a savior during this Holliday season when we inevitably have many guests, many meals, and many left-overs. Love the left-overs, but it is so nice to open the fridge and have essentially no smells at all.
Pros:
6 Options of sterilizing of 10 min increments up to 1 hour. Super compact, and very simple to use
Cons:
Very short charging cord of only 12 inches. The cord is USB-A to USB-C and does not come with a power brick. SO, if you have begun the migration to USB-C only, this could be a challenge. Fortunately, our kitchen has USB-A plugs in the wall outlets, so no problem. However, you should be aware and prepared to handle this minor hurdle.
Give this little gadget a try, you won’t regret it. Definitely recommend it.

I was reading some of the other reviews about ozone cleaners. Some being harmful if over exposed. But I also read that one reason why ozone is preferred to other various chemicals, because it does not leave any type of residual chemical. I’m a bit weary of using it for an extended amount of time in our refrigerator around food. But it did work for the 20 minutes in our refrigerator I did use.
