This drone is a blast to fly! It’s small and lightweight, making it easy to carry around, but it’s packed with features. The 4K video looks incredible, and the 3-axis gimbal does a fantastic job keeping the footage smooth. The 38-minute flight time gives me plenty of time to explore and capture great shots. I also appreciate the GPS auto return, which helps if I ever lose track of where the drone is. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, this drone offers amazing value.

First and foremost, I hope everyone is having a blessed day. This is my very first Drone and I am blown away. OMG Finally, I can get a bird eye view up in the sky. I’m very pleased with the bundle, I haven’t had any issues. I’m still trying to get used to the controls. ETC Easy to fly and set up. Please remember to update your firmware software. Before you fly or any more updates. for Ur Drone

I initially bought a cheaper sort of off-brand drone. I returned it almost immediately and bought the DJI mini 3 (fly more combo). This is a great little drone. Small enough to not require FAA registration. Capable of flying great distances due to frankly amazing battery life and respectable transmission range. It has a theoretical maximum range of 10 km but I’ve only had it out to 6-7 km and that was from a significantly elevated point. This drone is very easy to fly but it has the performance and subtlety of control that allows for some fairly acrobatic flying, though nothing like an fpv drone – the tilt angle is always going to be limited. Good camera quality and some “quick shots” features that allow one to take semi-automated video shots in different patterns. The DJI mini 3 does not have any obstacle avoidance feature which does come on the DJI mini 3 pro, for a little more. I have lost RC signal a number of times and each time it has obediently flown back on its own until signal returned and I could take control again. With the 3 batteries, each lasting easily over 30 minutes without cutting it close (30% or so still on the battery) and a recharge time of just over an hour per battery, you can fly this thing almost continuously. A really great drone for the money.

I got this at a very lucrative deal, which gave me around a $100 discount. The delivery was on time (could have come earlier but I love the wait). Coming to the drone, I believe for the price I paid for this, we usuallt get a dji mini 2 se and can never be compared with the mini 3 , mini 3 destroys mini 2 se in almost all fields. Well built, not even a tiny bit of imperfection, everything works as it should. The Materials and the moving parts dont feel flimsy at all. The flight time is a full 30mins even when it says 38 on the box. I am talking from real life scenarios. I would suggest buying a highspeed sd card preferably 128gb, but I highly doubt you will be able to fill it. The connection is flawless and the reception is too good. Camera quality annihilates any other drones in this category (please note its competition is mini 3 pro which nothing but the same drone with a obstacle detection, which I dont need ofcourse). The mini 3 recently has received a firmware upgrade which lets it take 48mp stills (hoping they add tracking, afterall its just a software feature). The return to home feature works flawlessly and I have used it almost everytime I am done flying it, its precise unless you are in a remote area with less gps coverage. Overall I am very satisfied with the buy, this is a marvel of modern technology and I would suggest anyone who wants to own it to not think twice and pick it up. If you are novice flyer I would suggest u to go for obstacle avoidance system which is in the pro models. Get the fly more combo if you want to fly it more than half an hour because the charging time is more if you use the drone itself to charge. I believe the fly more combos are a steal with the package that they offer. Go get this guys you wont regret buying this.

Love the video quality. VERY easy to set up and the controls are responsive. Its small size allows you to drop it into a case and go and the weight is another plus. The screen on the controller responds just like my iPhone and has the same set up. Best drone purchase and also great for beginners. No issues with connection either. Buy, unpack, set up, fly and have fun.

I have taken this drone all the way down to Miami all the way to Clayton, NY. This takes beautiful pictures. This flies about 2-3 miles out on a good day without trees but that is just me. Very easy to control. Now that I have had practice I fly it like a sport car. This does have GPS as it needs satellites. Wait for like 14 to take off. Worth the money!! Taking it to Greenville so should be great!

Perfect beginner drone. Compact design comes in handy to store. Loads better than other cheaper drones on the market. Really good camera, shoots vertical and horizontal picture and video. The range is mediocre. I have noticed if it gets just a little bit too far away the signal bars go down drastically. Also no sensors on this model so have to fly it higher to avoid trees.

I have wanted to splurge on a true photographic drone, after spending money on “fun” toy style drones, with sub par cameras. I told myself if it went on sale I was buying it. For less than $800 tax in, I got the fly more combo during prime days (would have splurged on the pro but it didn’t go on sale) and am so happy I did.
Out of the box, the drone is easy to fly, and register. I spent $125 or so on DJI care, as I was taking the drone to PEI and flying over water and was concerned about crashing in the water or losing it.

I took many flights and a lot of video, exploring different aspects of the island. Everything recorded to the onboard micro SD card, and I transferred those to my phone via the DJI fly app, for viewing and editing.
The drone is very easy to fly, and I was able to get several flights under my belt, without hitting anything or crashing. Video is smooth, battery lasts as long as they claim but having 2 spares ready to go is so handy.
I immediately purchased a PEKREW drone backpack to carry the drone and accessories, making it even more portable, however everything would still fit nicely in the included carry bag.
As I complete more projects and get familiar with editing, I may upgrade to one of the PRO models, but for now, this is easy to learn on, easy to understand and VERY fun to fly!

We have three “entry level” (Ascend, 4VRC) drones but I was looking to upgrade. We started droning in about 2021 when entry drones were about $50 at Costco. I noticed Costco had the DJI Mini 2 SE so I thought I’d try it out. As I was waiting for the order, this DJI Mini 3 went on sale (28% off) on Prime day so I bought it too.

I tried out both these drones and wow – compared to entry level, these DJI drones are amazing! These two drones (DJI Mini 3 and DJI Mini 2 se) are more expensive, but these drones practically fly themselves when hovering and are about 20% the workload to fly and the pictures/videos are amazing. The camera and gimbal are excellent at keeping the screen on target, even in high wind.

I decided to stick with the Mini 3 over the Mini 2 SE since it had a better camera sensor (4k vs 2.7k, better video in darker scenarios), better upwards looking (60 degrees vs 20, almost 80 degrees if the Mini 3 camera is flipped for my own obstacle avoidance) and better battery time. The Mini 3 is also slightly larger (easier to spot at longer ranges for visual line of sight) and the larger rotors make a lower pitch which make it less noisy, in my opinion.

Note: the Remote Control works great with a Lenovo M10 Plus gen 3 (10 inch) tablet however I have to reboot the tablet to get it to connect to the RC – no biggie. The RC also works with a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and a TCN Ion Z cellphone ($50 but lags a bit) from Walmart.

This was my first drone and while I quickly wished I went for one of the pro models, I have no regrets. Takes awesome pictures and videos. Falls short on a few of the “special features” but if you don’t need any of them or obstacle avoidance, it’s really awesome! Makes the perfect travel drone.
