This is a great drone. Videos are in 4k and crystal clear, pictures are amazing. Very easy to control, great range and fast charging. Purchased myself one and then 3 days later order one for my son, having a blast flying this little guy.

I had been wanting a drone for a while but never really took the time to look, and Amazon recommended this one to me, and after doing a bit of research… the deal was just too good to pass up. It arrived in a few days with Prime, and while I am still learning to fly it, it’s very intuitive. Camera quality is very good. It’s also pretty zippy. I wish it had some type of obstacle avoidance tech built in, and maybe that’s something HolyStone will incorporate into future drones. Until I’m expert flyer I just try to steer clear of things I could potentially run into. Battery life is decent, and one thing I have noticed is the battery life seems to last longer in cooler temps or when the sun isn’t beating directly down on the unit. I would def have at least two batteries to get some decent flight time in. Overall, it’s a quality product, I like its size, and it’s a good looking unit as well, very slick looking. I’m happy with it. Worth every penny spent. Keep your eyes peeled for deals on Amazon.

The video quality is great, good image stability, and decent handling. My one issue is it seems to have a boot up time of a few minutes. If you don’t let it boot up, it can crash or have bizarre behavior. Also can’t seem to find replacement props.

This drone is awful, I am so disappointed I bought it. The video is not clear, its wobbly. I bought the spare battery pack, luckily I returned it in time because it did not hold a charge. One of the other batteries in the package only charges half way. When I try to change out batteries to keep flying, the drone will not reconnect with my phone. Unfortunately I did not use the drone for the first couple months I bought it, so now I am past the point of being able to return this piece of garbage. Do yourself a favor, do not buy this drone. I am stuck with a $600 useless drone, and I don’t have the budget to buy a new one.

Edit 2: I’m very impressed with Holy Stone’s ability to address and resolve customer issues. Replacement drone inbound at no charge to me within 24 hours of first contact, after suffering an unexpected mid-flight disconnect and drone loss. I will update as needed and see if I can find somewhere to get an accurate range measurement without as much risk. See below for the incident leading to this.
Edit: Holy foreshadowing Batman… See review from unboxing below. Just lost signal drone-side at ~1400 feet from home on my first attempt at a “long distance flight” and did not reconnect when I brought myself to the site of signal loss. Screenshot from the app attached.
I’m new to hobby grade drones, with only a few dozen hours on toy grade stuff. This thing has opened my eyes to what a drone can actually do. The camera is decent, both flight and the gimbal are very stable, and the software is straightforward. Only complaint is range, it’s nowhere near the advertised 20000 feet. I was beginning to get noticeable control lag and FPS drop just going vertical from launch to the US recreational limit of 400 feet in altitude so I can’t imagine I have even 10% of what we’ve been told. Updating that alone would get y’all that 5th star.

This was my first drone and I am loving it so far. It’s been much easier to fly than I expected. The picture quality looks great. So far the battery life has been good. The only thing is I wish the 3 battery charger could charge all batteries at once instead of one at a time.
Very happy with my purchase so far. I think I have four miles of flight so far in with an hour of flight time.

I like how easy the drone is to handle I have the 720e model and this drone is an upgrade it Flys great takes great pictures and you can get great distance with it I think the furthest I had it was 785 feet from me I highly recommend this drone if your looking to upgrade

The HS900 is very durable and very reliable. However one of my spare batteries went bad after only 5 flights, But I think that battery was just a dud. The other battery is still working fine. The camera is very good and stable. The range is good to. Absolutely recommend this drone.
