I have only flown it once thus far, but I enjoyed it so much that I recommended it to my friends, also military aviators. It is easy to fly and operate and the image quality is superb. I also purchased an additional 128GB SD or TF card for 18 bucks to keep a record of videos and photos. When I purchased this nicely packaged compact kit discounted by $80 at AMAZON, it came with three batteries with an offer for one additional free battery (worth $80 each) when you first download the free smartphone app. At this point, I have yet to experiment with any special features beyond the basics of flying it within visual range and landing it safely on its included landing pad. I am looking forward to years of continued enjoyment and I am confident that anyone over the age of 16 will enjoy this well-designed kit as well. Give it a try.

I recently bought this drone to use primarily for work but also wanted to have something to take footage while on my personal time. I wanted to go with a drone that was a little bigger because of the stability in windy situations and with my work I need stable footage. This drone has definitely fulfilled those expectations. I expected higher quality then I was used to just because of the price point and I’ve never spent that much on a drone before however it well exceeded my expectations. The HS600 flies super smooth and with the 3 speed modes its real easy to fly if your beginner or expert. The footage is pretty good as well. I wouldn’t say is the same as paying $1500 for a drone but for the price point, you cant beat it.
I would definitely recommend anyone who is wanting to get into drones to get this drone.

Did more than a year of research before finally making a big purchase for a drone. This was well worth it. Easy to set-up and control. GPS works amazing and videos are super smooth. I’ve flown drones before but am still a amateur, so this is great for starting out. No regrets.

    Purchase with caution.

First off, let me say that I already own two other Holy Stone drone’s. Overall, I have been happy with the quality and operational characteristics they have. I purchased this Holy Stone HS 600 drone this past week. It arrived on time and in good shape. I haven’t had an opportunity to actually fly it due to the inclement weather that the whole country is facing right now. I did do preflight prep, and did a motor run in the living room to make sure everything works but I have not flown it. I purchased the extended flight package, which includes three batteries instead of two and a landing pad. It comes in a two tier stacked case which I do not care for. The bottom of the case has two sections for the batteries and the controller. Then you have a fold down divider with another storage compartment area and where the drone sits on top of that. There’s another packing pad to help protect it from the top. So here’s my dislike, if I want to get to the two batteries in the bottom of the case I have to remove the protective top pad take the drone out and if there’s anything stored in the storage area next to that it has to come out then I have to fold up the dividing pad and reach in and get the controller or the two batteries they’re all stacked on top of each other, I don’t care for that. If you buy just the standard two battery kit, it comes with a nice formfitting case that opens up and everything is displayed for easy access. My suggestion is to purchase that standard kit and just buy an extra battery. you’ll be a lot happier having easy access to your accessories. The gimbal protective cover is very disappointing. It doesn’t fit very well. It’s hard to line up and the locking tab on the back to release it when it is in place already broke off on the first day so now I have a piece of tape to help keep the gimbal cover in place when I pack it away. it’s just a flimsy piece of plastic and almost looks like it was an afterthought on design. The next issue I have with this product is the batteries. I fully charged all three batteries and the controller. All three batteries in three days sitting on my desk lost 25% of a full charge. Why? Are they defective? I don’t know. I have charged all three of them up again and they are sitting on my desk and If they discharge again in three days, I will be returning this drone. I can live with the case problem, but the discharging of the batteries have me concerned.
Overall, I am happy with the product but these issues need to be addressed.

    Update 1/23/2024
I have changed my star rating from 3 to 5 because of the outstanding customer service I have received about my concerns for the HD 600 drone. Holy Stones customer service has gone above and beyond any company that I have ever had experiences with to address my minor complaints. As I stated earlier I also own two other Holy Stone drones, three all together. These drones are well-made and are dependable for what I consider to be at a affordable price. If you are thinking about getting into drones customer service should be a purchasing factor. Do not overlook this company, THEY ROCK!

For the price it has some nice features. A litter harder to set up compared to the dji I had in the past but for the price of a “kit” that has extra batteries and a nice carry case for just a few dollars more than the dji i had.

I did my research before buying this drone and had high hopes… Those expectations were fully satisfied!

This drone handles very nicely. One of the primary things I was looking for in my next drone was wind resistance. The HS600 is listed as being able to handle level 6 winds. I have been able to operate the HS600 in wind conditions that would have blown my other drones into the next county…

Battery life is another high point. Even in high wind conditions, I get over 20 minutes of operation from a single battery. With the three battery kit that I bought, that’s more than an hour of flight time.

While this is an advanced drone, don’t be afraid to buy this one as a beginner. The HS600 does have a ‘beginner’ setting with the HS Fly app that will limit distance, altitude, and some other parameters to allow you to more easily get the hang of flying and understand the behavior of the drone. But, even for an advanced drone, it is very user-friendly. It is just a great drone to grow into.

The only thing to keep in mind about going into a larger, advanced drone is FAA Remote ID. Any drone over 249 grams (0.55 pounds) must have a transponder and is required to be registered for Remote ID. The HS600 with a battery installed weighs 541 grams (1.2 pounds). Fortunately, the HS600 sold through Amazon comes with a transponder built in.

Love this drone. The ease of flying it is the best I’ve experienced. Some troubles getting it set up, some problems keeping a camera connection, but these are probably me or my phone. The quality of the pictures and video is great. I believe this is a very good buy for the money.
