I take this thing everywhere. It has a stronger signal than my laptop, so when I get into an area with spotty coverage, I can use this and get a better and faster connection. It’s very easy to use, plug and play, up and online in no time. Good product.

I bought this for my desktop PC, which always had issues with connecting with our (admittedly bad) Xfinity router and its signal boosting pods. This was my first attempt at buying something to fix connectivity problems, and fortunately it works well enough for me to say this is really worth it. It is completely plug-and-play, and has been able to provide a stronger and smoother connection than my desktop’s dedicated WiFi chip. If you’re going down the rabbit hole of fixing your wifi, start with buying one of these, and see how much it improves your experience, cause for me, it’s all I really needed to be able to play Team Fortress 2 again, and download stuff in less than 18 hours.

Worked immediately and still going stong after a few months of use. My wifi sometimes acts up but over all a really good product and works pretty fast, even for a 12yr old computer!

On my Windows 10 computer, the device was recognized, and drivers installed automatically. Just throw away the stupid little disc that comes with it. Insanely fast.

Update, 08/02/ 2019 The 4 stars are for customer service, the adapter itself I give a 2. After the second one failed, seller again sent a credit for a replacement after I sent pictures of non functioning adapter. I decided to buy a different model. I applaud the seller for their commitment to customer service. They always got back to me and made it right. It’s just that the product does not seem to have any longetivity in fuctioning properly. Some of it may be the design, an antenna sticking out of the laptop and getting taken in and out a lotp. The adapter was loose in the usb ports, leading to frequent disconnects. Perhaps a tighter fitting model might work better and longer. I decided to buy one without antenna sticking out.
Edited review: 2/2019: Received full credit from seller for a new adapter. Thank you. Repurchased the same adapter.
Edited Review: After 4 months of light use, the thing died yesterday. Completely. No amount of trouble shooting brought it back. I am waiting for the seller’s response to a request for exchange or refund and will update my review according to the actions, or lack thereof, the seller takes. This is supposed to have a lifetime warranty.
IUpdate number 2: The new one the seller sent me worked for 3 months, then started not working intermittently, now its dead. They seem to have a working time line of 3 to 4 months. When they do work they work well. Original review: I bought a new modem and router for my comcast home WIFI and my three older laptops did not have the software/hardware to take advantage of the 5G band width/higher internet speeds. I bought this to upgrade these 3 laptops. Set up on Win 7 was quick and easy with the enclosed software cd. The network dongle was recognized immediately after re-starting. Speed increased from 110Mbps to 430Mbps on my in-home WiFi. Cannot comment on durability yet. This is an easy, worthwhile upgrade for older laptops. I’m very satisfied with this product.

Produto bem simples e pequeno, conectável ao USB, comprei ele visando ao uso em um gamestick, pois precisava de uma rede, junto ao hub USB fiz instalação dele sem necessidade alguma de instalação de drivers. A conexão foi rápida e fácil, o local que utilizei tem distancia de dois cômodos e o sinal ficou perfeito e sem perda, valeu muito apena investimento.

Don’t expect great range with this. But for a single antenna USB adapter it works OK, especially considering the price. I use it for setting up computers withing 20 ft of router.
