Kindle Customer –
I bought this computer as a basic family computer that would still allow me to make sports highlight videos (kid’s sports – not professional quality). It will serve its purpose in that regard. My biggest disappointment is that the USB-C port is only good for data transfer. I intended to use my docking station to charge, use multiple monitors, wireless keyboard, and mouse. Seems like a basic function that any new computer would have. So, while not completely unsatisfied with my purchase, I would not buy this one again.

Its a nice machine – a little bigger than I was expecting – but not overwhelming. The keypad is very handy when entering numeric data in Excel. It is lightening fast and has room to spare. The graphics are nice too. Just remember not to sit it in your lap without giving the underside access to air; otherwise it does get HOT.

My dad bought a computer at the same time at Best Buy, and for the same price the best he could get was half the RAM and half the GB. I also shopped around and couldn’t find a remotely comparable deal.
I’ve only had the computer for a couple of months but I noticed I can run Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator and InDesign at the same time, and surf the Internet with no delays. If I try to throw a vc video chat in the mix too, I might have to close a few programs.
The laptop doesn’t overheat even when I’m using while charging. I am really impressed I got such a great laptop for this price.
I bought it preparing for unemployment, expecting I would have to buy another when I got a job, but this is so much more functional and durable than my old Macbook Air, for a fraction of the cost of a Pro, and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

I got this for my 79 year old dad. We needed to upgrade his 4 year old Chromebook. He really likes this laptop a lot. It’s easy for him to use, has a good size screen and was very easy to set up. It’s fast and has good graphics as well.

I intended to utilize this laptop model and distributor to support my company as our flagship laptop. The first employee who received this laptop reported that the laptop functioned just fine. That was until the very next day that the laptop would not connect to the internet. That employee drove to a local IT support center where the technicians diagnosed the computer as corrupted. This all occurred within 24 hours of receiving the device.
A separate employee unboxed their laptop and discovered that the computer would not connect to their docking station. This may be due to the laptop requiring an updated driver to allow docking station support, which we are still verifying, but either way, these were back-to-back incidents that are red flags to me and should be red flags to those considering this laptop.

Great performance and battery life. The case is a little flimsier than I expected, I didn’t realize that it was mostly plastic, but after traveling with it I realized it’s a lot stronger than what it seems and I actually do like the plastic casing now because it keeps it light. The power button to the keyboard is a little bit weird but I’m used to it now. Has a nice display and good screen size and is overall a good value for the performance that you get. I use this for a work laptop.
