Great little portable design for my backpacking and home use. The folding pivot is rather stiff so opening while holding close to the pivot is recommended. Easy to operate and quickly reaches the temperature reading of the food. Smooth surfaces for easy cleaning. Comes with a handy guide of various food cooking temperatures. Good price. Happy with the purchase.

I have two of these at the house – one for the oven, one for the grill. Game changer because I never really cooked meat, but when my grown son moved in I had to learn LOL had my first two for three years, not a single complaint, very reliable and accurate, magnet is great to stick right to the grill or fridge, display is easy to read and reads very quick. Super durable, I just try to clean only the probe and stay away from getting the product itself wet as I’ve seen reviews with water issues. No biggie. Staying a my father’s house a few hours away and all they had was an old manual thermometer. Maybe I’m biased and a little crazy but I overnighted one of these because I forgot mine at home… now I have 3!

Word to the wise – the thermometer is set on Celsius when you open the package! Change it to Fahrenheit if need be before overcooking your steak. **face palm** Haha

I love this thermometer. I’ve bought two so far. I wanted to have a backup in case anything were to ever happen to the first one I purchased. I usually use it to bake boneless skinless chicken breasts. We eat them a lot in our house,
maybe 2-3 times per week. This thermometer is accurate and now I don’t need to overcook the meat to feel comfortable eating it. I feel safe using it to check the chicken temperature and am grateful knowing it has reached a safe internal temperature to eat. It has a little menu with recommended internal temperatures for all the different meats. I am thinking about buying a third one to have for traveling. My family recently vacationed in Santa Barbara at a nice home that was fully stocked, and I did not find a kitchen thermometer. We baked chicken there and overcooked it just to be safe. I wish I had one of these with me. I wash it after every used and try not to get any part wet that is not the needle but I have a few times and it’s still going strong. It appears to be waterproof. I like that it folds up so it is easy to store. Definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an accurate and easy to use meat thermometer.

Great Value for the money. When things are cheaper, you think they’re gonna be cheaply made? But this is good quality ,works great.
