Plug n’ play (on Windows 10), works as intended with good, consistent sound quality. A straightforward, quality product!

A few of my coworkers got these headsets for Hangout calls with clients, and I got one as well once I realized the difference in voice quality. I don’t think anything can beat the microphone on these in terms of voice quality. It is night and day compared to other microphones we’ve tried.

    Pros
    – Crisp, clear voice quality
    – Does a great job of not picking up ambient noise
    – Inexpensive

    Cons
    – Headband can break rather easily (co-worker had his snap from regular use, although mine is still intact)
    – The microphone could use a foam cover, as it picks up “wind” from your mouth and nose. I find that it works best to place just above your nose or below your mouth to not sound like a mouth breather.

I was a little leery in ordering this headset based on the feedback online about the microphone component breaking, however a work colleague owned two of these and recommended them saying she didn’t have any problems. I went ahead and ordered it based on the feedback from the person I work with. In the end the one I received had the microphone piece broken from the earpiece as described in other reviews and I ended up returning it for another model.

Does a good job with MS Teams and it is good at cutting down a lot of the background noise during meetings. I prefer corded headsets so I do not have to deal with wifi or bluetooh issues and I also only like one ear covered so I can easily hear what is going on around me.

Had it for two days so far and have been using it for about 3 -4 hours each day and I’m very happy. Excellent sound quality and ergonomics (I have a large head, too). I use it to connect to my work desktop remotely and access Microsoft Lync audio conferencing.

My only quibble, and it’s a small point, is that while the microphone rotates 270 degrees, it cannot be moved out, away from your head. This is a bit of an issue because sometimes Lync told me that the mic was too close. I could rotate it downwards but felt like it would have made more sense to move it away from my head

First off, it may be a Microsoft head set, but it works fine on a mac.
Simply plug it in to an open USB and it will appear in your sound preferences.

I just made a few VoIP calls and I can say that the sound quality is excellent both ways.

While comfortable, I do find it a tad too snug and warm compared to headset that it is replacing.

The build quality, fit and finish are all top shelf for it’s price range, this can’t be compared to a metal $300+ Plantronics metal crafted industrial quality piece, but for the price, I’m impressed. It may be light weight plastic, but it’s put together quite well.

Cord length is generous, and the thickness will definitely withstand your rolling over it with an office chair.

The head band can be extended from both sides (something not all mono head sets can do) which helps you dial in the perfect fit

The mid-cord controls all you to call, mute and control volume. The control unit itself has a clip so you can place wear it or fix it to something on your desk.

That’s about it. I suggest you try this one out, I’m glad I did.

First of all it works great. I have had no issues using with Skype or Gotomeeting on any machine that I have plugged it into, it simply works. It sounds decent and is fairly comfortable. So why 2 stars? Just like the other negative reviews the headband breaks. I had it at 3 stars, but after I wrote the review it just bugged me more that Microsoft abandons you after this purchase. Now it is only a $22 device but still, come one, at least offer a replacement? Nope, and after a short scroll through through the negative reviews, no representative from Microsoft offering a fix. So Microsoft, maybe you should learn a little more about customer service? I am going to go through the entire string of negatives (after this review) in hopes that at one time a Microsoft employee cared enough to at least respond. My guess is caveat emptor. If you buy this headset and be very careful with is because if you pull it apart to much to put it on your head, it will break and you are clearly on your own.
