I had bought this product without doing much research trusting the Mircosoft brand name. It hasn’t disappointed at all. I have been using it for over 3 months on almost a daily basis and I’ve sometimes left it ON overnight for a couple of days without realizing and the battery hasn’t drained drastically.
It is basically a everyday use mouse, you can do a bit of gaming with it too. It’s compact and light and quite a but rugged considering I found it one day under the couch with what seemed like shoe prints on it, after a party. Although it got dirty there’s no visible scratches on it.
I was very apprehensive of how it would feel to hold and it hasn’t disappointed me there too, the top is a slightly rough surface which makes gives it a nice grip and it works well over most surfaces, including on the bed.

Overall a solid, functioning mouse. I like the size, not too large and not too small, perfect to carry in my backpack. The usb is low profile too. My only complaint is the quality and the sound of clicking. The quality seems cheap, definitely a China product. Just simple plastic. Scrolling on the wheel feels cheap, not very smooth. And the clicking is just so damn loud. It reminds me of going to the library and using the old desktop computers with their ancient mouses.
I think the mouse is a solid 4/5. Happy that its only $11.

Affordable, reliable and high quality. This is the mouse I have been looking for. Over this past year I have had poor luck with finding the perfect wireless mouse but now that has changed thanks to this mouse! I am very satisfied with the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1850. It’s the perfect size. It’s very precise when doing detailed work. It uses only one double A battery. It has an On/Off switch. It’s inexpensive and it works wonderfully. I highly recommend this mouse!

After many years, my old mouse finally bit the dust so I ordered this one as a replacement. It looks good and it fits my hand well. However, it is very unresponsive. I need to use it on a very brightly colored mouse pad or it will not work. My other mice worked on almost any material, with little or no contract. This mouse only works on the most contrasted materials. The price was low so I bought it. All mice are the same, right? I think I found out that you get what you pay for. I have ordered another mouse that I hope will work better than this one. I will keep it around as a backup, but that is it.

Very good mouse. Looks good. Feels good in hand. I’m a man with medium sized hands and the size of this mouse is right for me. Been using it regularly for work since March 31st and I have had no problems at all. Works on any surface. No lag or stutter. The scroll wheel is silent, which I like, and works fine. It has a matte finish which gives good grip. Came with a Duracell battery, that was an excellent idea from Microsoft. I’m not sure of any sleep or power save features because I turn it off if I know I’ll be away for lunch or coffee etc. So can’t comment on that.

I think it will last a long time. Very happy so far.
