I had bought another adapter and was wondering why it would not connect to my Mac Book Air. I read the reviews and the label states it is compatible with MacBook. Bought it and it worked perfectly. It’s incredibly fast too.

Overall Rating: 5/5
Summary: it’s a simple adapter from Ethernet to USB C, it works as intended and looks great.
• Features: It adapts the signals given from a Ethernet to a USB C device, most commonly needed on laptops without a Ethernet port or phones. It got a led light on top of the logo, so you can see when it’s working, that’s pretty useful for me.
• Ease of Use: Really easy to use, it’s just plug and play, USB C is reversible so you can put it either way, the Ethernet only goes one way due to its tab on the connector, so it’s impossible to go wrong when plugging it.
• Performance: It works, I didn’t get to test the speed, but the information does go through, so if you need to know technical information about the speed, better search a little more.
• Design: Fairly compact, and it got a space to put the cable end when not using it, got a lil logo on it. That white is easy to get dirty so always make sure that you have clean hands.
• Value for Money: I think it could be a little cheaper, but it’s still worth it, because it’s from a trusted company, so if you don’t wanna gamble with other brands, here is one that works. If the item is on a good sale, don’t think about it too much and get it.
• Customer Support: I didn’t have to contact customer support on this product, But TP link is usually good on their service.
Conclusion: If you are looking at this product it’s because of a need, and this one on specific is the one that I can recommend. Can’t go wrong with TP Link.

Nice little adapter. I like to have USB network adapter on hand for odd situations and doing random assembly and testing. Needed such an adapter recently while installing custom OS on a Pixel Slate tablet which only had USB-C inputs so I picked up one of these to supplement the several others I have in micro USB. I like having a known name brand rather than some unknown letter-jumbled name crap from who knows where.
Works nice and easily as expected. I have now tried it in Windows 11, Rasperian Bookworm, Debian 12, and ChromeOS and it worked perfectly without needing additional drivers in all cases. I have no thunderbolt devices to test with.

Bought this after reading the all the positive reviews, but I have to say that it is no better than the internet connection on my HP Compaq PC. It works fine, just no improvement, so I will keep it just incase my mother board connection fails. Easy to install, true plug & play.

My Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon X1 wouldn’t accept a USB ethernet adapter but had absolutely NO problems with this one! Works beautifully. No hassle, just plug in and instantly connected. Highly recommend! Love how small and compact it is too.

Simple plug and play. I usually get 450 down on wifi. Can’t believe the difference with this adapter.

I was doing some time sensitive work on a laptop when the wifi access point died. I was able to quickly pull out this dongle and connect to the LAN via the ethernet cable without any additional drivers needed. Performance was stable and as advertised with no apparent slow down or heat generation. I also like how it sort of folds up for easier storage and it seems decently durable for what it is. I think it would work on my iphone / ipad although i haven’t tested it on those. I would recommend this to anyone how has a device that does not have a RJ45 port on their device (who knows when need ethernet access) .

This TP-Link USB to Ethernet Adapter is a must-have for today’s thin laptops and tablets that often lack a dedicated LAN port. It enables reliable LAN connectivity whenever I need a more stable internet connection. I keep it close by and use it frequently, and it always works well without any issues. If you’re looking for a compact and dependable adapter for your device, this is the one to get!
