    This HP Envy printer was super easy to set up. We are talking just a few minutes! The printer does a fantastic job at printing quality documents. I am not going to become a member of their ink plan, so I will purchase my own HP ink when the time comes. So far, I am liking the ability to print fast straight from my phone! This printer is easy to learn and understand- it’s very user friendly.

    This is our 5th HP all-in-one printer (three laser printers for our business and two Inkjets for home). It fits a great niche in that it has the features you need but fits on a desk.

    Here’s what we like about this printer:

    FUNCTION:
    – It prints high quality relatively quickly. (5-7 seconds for most pages).
    – It scans multiple pages like the larger all-in-one printers.
    – It also works as a copier.
    – It is reliable and is easily maintained.

    FIT:
    – Its small footprint fits on the corner of my home desk. (It would also work on a small stand.)
    – It is nicely laid out and everything is easy to access.

    EASE OF USE:
    – The setup is fairly painless. (The video is fairly easy to follow.)
    – The touch screen is intuitive and straightforward.
    – The HP Smart App makes it easy to scan or switch printers when I change locations.

    Overall, this is a great printer for home applications. It is reasonably priced and gives a lot of “bang for the buck.”

    We are very pleased and highly recommend it.

    Discourage with HP printer quality/reliability. Ordered this printer to replace my older HP 5600 only to find it would not register using HP Smart. Spent 1/2 day talking with HP support who recommended I return it.

    I found this new printer has some inconvenient featured compared with the older design. Smaller screen, slower printing, smaller ink cartridges and flimsy paper receiving tray. Not close to the design features of the older printers.

    A month to get a refund, that is excessive when I was told by HP they would replace it overnight and Amazon returns does not provide that feature of immediate replacements with HP.

    Too time consuming dealing with HP Support. Going to try Brother after many years with HP. Quality of HP products is or has gone down to an unacceptable level.

    The media could not be loaded.

    Absolutely a great printer ! Wow. Quick and easy set up, roughly 30 min set up.

    It also prints photos with “HP advanced photo paper.” Just change the “tray” settings to fit the photo paper a you can send them from your phone to the printer. Easy set up as well!

    I purchased the HP (yellow) all-in-one22 letter paper, which prints fantastic and clear for work or school documents.

    Setting this up was a dream. So easy, when I actually was able to find a picture in my phone and send it to the printer from another room, I was jumping up and down. The only thing I found that took some time, believe it or not was how to shut it off. For everyone, it is in the back of the printer right above the power cord. Other than that A+

    This printer was easy to set up. It only took about 10 minutes or so to get it set up and connected to my phone and computer. I like how simple and easy it is to use, and it comes with ink too which is nice. The app is easy to use too.

    Setup was super easy, right out of the box. The instructions were clear and step-by-step. The print quality is very good. It was easy to add this printer to my “family” of printers on the hp app. My only complaint is the “instant ink” program. The printer comes with a black cartridge and a color cartridge of ink, and you can sign up for 3 months of free hp instant ink. If you read the fine print, though, it says if you decline to join the program, they will remotely disable your ink cartridges and make them unuseable, even if they’re still full of ink. You have 7 days from when you set up your printer to join the instant ink program before they disable your cartridges. It says you can buy “non-instant ink” cartridges, and use them however you want, if you decline to use their program. That’s kind of annoying. The good news is that their instant ink program isn’t going to break the bank, but its still an expense I didn’t know was attached to owning this printer. FYI. Otherwise, this printer works well and seems to be pretty alright.

    Also, for the record, I got about 15 full-color pages printed before it told me the colored ink needed to be replaced. I don’t think the cartridge is empty yet, but its low enough that I got a notification about needing more.
