    I really like this HP printer. It is small, works great if you have limited space. The wifi setup was easy. It’s a little different, as you load paper on a fold down tray, not an inner compartment. It also will not do double-sided printing. I wouldn’t recommend this if you do a lot of printing or need double-sided printing, but for general home use, it’s great: fast and high quality printing.

    Lets begin with installation. I wanted to buy a cheap solid printer, a simple plug and play. I am a Brother brand fan for life but decided I should not be negative and give this HP a shot, boy do I regret it.

    This printer will not install via a USB. To install this printer they force you to register, download their app on your phone, and connect your phone via blue tooth to their printer. They manage to wiggle their way into your cell phone and then of coarse send you all kinds of notifications to sell you their stuff (think of how invasive that is).

    Once installed it is buggy, it does not print instantly, it is a slow. Sometimes it just will not print at all and then at midnight it prints and wakes me up of course.

    If you go to get tech support good luck trying to speak to a human being you get the dummest Ai in history. So no luck with tech support, so I tried to reinstall it and reinstall it 3 times, same problem.

    In conclusion I am going to go and buy me a real printer a Brother I can plug and play and will work. My last one lasted over 15 years. This beauty is going to the ranch so I can take out all my frustrations with it and its stupid brand. It will become target practice for my AR15. Once I unload a few clips on it ill feel much better about loosing the 100 bucks I spent and I bet I ill at least like the brand for target practice.

    This printer is fine for what I need. I do not print out items everyday. I occasionally need to print a form or receipt from my IPad. It was a very easy, uncomplicated set up; and if I can do it, anybody can! The printer has worked fine the couple of times I’ve used it in the past month.

    Print quality is good. Set up was easy. I like the compact design. BUT…………….
    NOT auto duplex- it is manual duplex – This might be a deal breaker for me because my printer is not next to my desk and I will have to walk over to flip the pages.
    Prints slower than expected, but not terrible. Printed 8 pages in 1min 22sec.
    Printer status not available when printing from computer. You have to use phone app to see this.
    I was printing copies from my computer and it stopped working (needed to cool down). I couldn’t figure out why. Turns out the phone app will give you the printer status, but I was unable to check the status on my laptop. It’s possible I did not download the software appropriately.
    This can’t handle volume printing. I was printing approx. 120 pages and it stopped printing a few times to “cool down”. Printed approx. 50 pgs before “cool down” started. This happened about every 7-8 pages after the first 50 printed. Cool down time was approx. 4mins each time. I can usually space out my printing so this isn’t that big of a deal for me, but if you need to do volume printing this may not be the printer for you unless you have the patience to wait through the cool down cycles.

    Got this 29% off on a limited time deal. VERY easy to hook up using your smart phone. Very quiet, small footprint and quick page printing. I love HP laserjets and this is just the right size to put on a bookcase shelf. WiFi works brilliantly and no sleep mode to have to wake the unit up from. Excellent product at a less than $100 price point. Replacement toner cartridges print ~950 pgs. not sure how many we’ll get from the introductory cartridge. The replacement HP toner cartridges are less than twice the price of the 67XL black ink cartridges so makes sense financially as well.

    Wanted to print from my iPhone. Followed the simple instructions and was printing in around 5-6 minutes. There was nothing I had change or configure on my phone and it paired with the printer right away.

    The print quality is good – better than I expected for such a small printer. And yes, it’s pretty small which is great. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the printer, especially with the great discount Amazon had.

    Some folks have mentioned it but there’s nothing that’s overly intrusive about the HP setup. It gives you the option to enroll in their toner subscription program and that’s about it.

    I had to replace a big Canon laser printer. This HP printer is much smaller, which I like. It prints wirelessly from my computer, my tablet and my phone. Nice. It does not scan nor copy. If I want a copy of something, I take a picture of the original with my phone and then print from my phone. It only prints black, not color. This is fine for my printing and cheaper and faster than colour ink cartridges. One caution – when you need to replace the toner cartridges you have to use an HP original or find a cartridge with a matching chip imbedded or it will not print. Amazon does sell suitable cartridges but buy carefully. This printer was easy to setup and has been reliable so far.

    I researched printers on Amazon prior to purchasing this item. I settled on this one mostly due to price and mostly positive reviews. I don’t need a printer for regular use but not having one when needed is a problem. This arrived next day and I had it printing in no more than 10 minutes. It could not have been easier. Be aware you do have to download an hp app to make this work. It was easy to follow the instructions and connected to wifi immediately. I am not even slightly a techy person and I had zero issues. Absolutely 100% recommend this little printer.
