Amazon Customer –
There are oh so many Routers out “there” today and with mixed reviews no less it is hard to know which one to get. I chose this one because it is an easy setup, 2.4 wireless wifi Router that has up to 300 Mbps that supports Access Point Mode, Qos bandwith. I especially like that it has an LED indicator, WLan and WPS included with 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n, plus it is compatible with Tables, PC’s, Gaming machines, Smartphones, cameras, etc. It has all kinds of applications including: Voip, video streaming, security cameras, web-browsing and multitasking. Included also are two 5dBi antennas to provide Network stability and improve the coverage area. This device also uses WISP (wireless repeater mode) to establish a connection with the primary router and wifi security protocols WPA2-PSK/Wpa-Psk/mixed encryption.

I noticed no improvement in our internet after using this device. Having said that, we are in a very rural area and internet is a huge problem here so it may be an “us” issue and I may be judging this device unfairly.

Love this product. It did the job.

I am using this U-SPEED N300 WiFi Router in my workshop, as I have a few devices in there that need to connect to the internet, but don’t require super-fast connectivity. In fact, this router is perfect for the shop for a couple of reasons: although the U-Speed only offers 2.4G connectivity, that’s all I need in there. I’m not going to do any 4K video streaming, I just want to be able to access the internet to look stuff up, mostly. Also, it’s extremely inexpensive, so I don’t have to worry too much if the unit’s case gets too much sawdust inside it or something and the modem stops working.
I actually DO have internet access in the shop from our home’s cable modem/router, but because of the location of the workshop in relation to the cable equipment, the signal is a bit weak and inconsistent, so sometimes I have access and sometimes I don’t. But with the U-Speed router connected to the cable modem/router in WISP Repeater mode, the connection is very stable, and although I’ve only been using it for a short time I have yet to lose connectivity due to a poor signal.
The built in Admin software seems to be a bit crude compared to higher-end routers. For example, the admin password doesn’t support special characters, only upper and lower-case letters and numbers. Also, there were a couple of times when the UI became unresponsive and I had to start the setup over from scratch. But with patience and perseverance I was able to set up the WISP mode and successfully connect to the main router, and also set up WiFi, change all the default passwords, and set up the appropriate security (WPA2-PSK).
Like most routers (probably all of them, actually), the router included the power supply, a short Ethernet cable, and a pamphlet with easy to follow instructions on the router’s use and setup. As I said in the review’s headline, this router is fine for general purpose wireless networking, and is a decent deal for the price.

If you’re the type who needs reliable Wi-Fi wherever you go, the N300 WiFi Router might just become your new favorite travel buddy. It’s compact enough to slip into a backpack or even a large pocket, yet powerful enough to turn any space into your personal internet hub. Setting it up is a breeze; even if you’re not a tech whiz, you’ll be online in no time. The 2.4G connection is perfect for most everyday tasks, and the 300Mbps speed is more than sufficient for streaming, browsing, and even light work. Whether you’re in a hotel room with spotty Wi-Fi, a remote cabin, or just want your own secure network, this little router has you covered.

I ordered this U-SPEED N300 WiFi Router to extend our Wi-Fi network to parts of the house where it’s complicated to set a wired network.
And I’m happy with it. It’s easy to set up by following the included instructions. It can be set up with a browser by accessing the web interface. There is no app to install.
It’s an affordable router with many features from more expensive ones. It only supports the 2.4G band, which is fine with me, because most of our gadgets still are on it.

To my surprise, this router works really well. Just needed it for our office where the signal is low, and this – for the price – is a great solution.
Super easy setup.
Excellent value.

If you need a cheap, simple router, you’ve come to the right place. While it says it can reach speeds up to 300mbps, I haven’t come anywhere near to that but it still manages to get the job done. Which is web browsing and watching videos from YouTube. There’s been no hiccups at all. I have the router set up near the center of my house and the range reaches all corners of my two story house without any issues. One of my main purposes of getting this router was being able to control who or what has access to the internet at any given time. While I am able to schedule the access and also cut off access at any time through the admin portal, it looks pretty outdated and annoying they don’t have a phone app for those functions.
