PC & Mac compatible. Horizontal scrolling is bonus for a portable mouse like this!Silent clicking, great for being in the classroom or office. The functionality of this mouse with the price is totally worth it. This gets thrown into my backpack and no damage so durability is prime. The USB receiver is small enough to keep in your laptop and still fit in a snug laptop case.

Overall I’m pretty happy with this mouse. Ergonomically it feels good in my hand and it has a nice weight to it. Love the red color. On Windows 7 the “Windows” button on the mouse opens up the panel normally accessed through the Windows button at the lower left of your screen. The scroll button is a little stiffer than I would like, but it’s fairly smooth and feels solid. The reason I didn’t go with Logitech was because I found their scroll wheels felt very flimsy like they were moving all over the place and too easy to accidentally press down. Initially I plugged the USB dongle into the back of my computer but I found the wireless signal wasn’t strong enough and was causing the cursor to lag and jump around. Plugging the dongle into the front of the computer solved this issue. Putting the dongle on the end of a USB extension cable and placing it on your desktop also works. This is a common problem with wireless mice (it also happened with a Logitech mouse I tried) so I didn’t deduct any points for it. Bonus! It came with a genuine Duracell battery dated for 2021! As someone else mentioned, the mouse has a slot in the bottom to store the USB dongle for when you’re bringing the mouse along with you on a trip or whatever.

Great functionality and size. A big drawback is that it requires the included dongle. Pain when your using a tablet with only one USB port.

The size makes it easy to use on the laptop keyboard surface below the keyboard and to the side of the touchpad. The top of the area with the wheel allows you to bring the Windows menu up by clicking it, so you don’t need to move the cursor to the bottom left and clicking on the little icon at the bottom. Since I have the taskbar auto-hide, it is harder to bring it up with the cursor.

works very good even pretty good on glass,I dont know about battery life…half year…depends on use.I use recharge batteries. All in one I have 2 of those ( over 2 years) and would buy them again!

My non Microsoft mouse only lasted a couple of years at my home desk. Meanwhile, my traveling Microsoft moue, has lasted 10 years. So I “upgraded” my home mouse to another Microsoft mouse. 5th one in our household now – never a problem.

Was a little jumpy at first, but settled down and is excellent.
