    I tried this on 2 PCs, one Windows 10 and the other Windows 11. Neither recognized the drive and both have not had this problem before. When you advertise as above you’d better deliver – I am NOT a Beta tester and I am refusing to spend my time diagnosing the solution.

    I’m extremely happy with this optical drive! Unlike other models I’ve tried, this one includes a USB power cord, which is a huge plus. My previous drive didn’t work because my mini desktop’s USB ports couldn’t provide enough power, but this one solves that problem entirely. The included power cord ensures it runs smoothly with no issues, even on systems with underpowered ports. It’s easy to set up and works perfectly right out of the box. Highly recommend if you want a reliable, hassle-free experience!

    This drive was unstable and inconsistent. The attached USB cable is so short you cant place it anywhere over 6 inches from your pc. Also, the Amazon ad says it works with Windows 11, but the paper instructions insert shows only up to 10. The insert also says it will NOT work with newer versions of Windows.

    Love how easy it is to use. I just took it out of the box and plugged it into my USB-C port and popped a CD in and was ready to go. This one is much faster then one I bought (different brand) a year ago. The price is very good. It’s nice because the plug has a USB-C and a regular USB plug and it has a nice slot under the unit to tuck it away. Very happy with my purchase.

    It wouldn’t work. One tip in the instructions said Win l0 Media Player would not work and you need the VLC Player which is free. It works now with the VLC Player. Also, I discovered a cable underneath the player which I had not seen since they give you an additional cable. Best to use the one underneath the CD Player as it is attached correctly to the cd player. I did download a driver also in case I didn’t have the right one. Now it works really well. A bit tricky though for those of us who are not all that tech savvy! Good luck! Instructions seem ok but read all of them!
