I plugged it in first and downloaded the drivers online and I tried to test it at first and it seemed to be really slow which was weird. I had to go into device manager and update the network adapter driver and then it seemed to work. I like how small and compact it is so that it doesn’t protrude out of the back of my pc.

I moved my desk away from the DSL modem/router and not able to use the ethernet cable hookup. I have an old computer with no wi-fi. While starting the computer I dropped the included CD in and plugged this into a USB port. By the time the computer fully came on it had already make a connection. I did not need the driver disc and had to do nothing else to connect to the internet. Could not have been simpler. Excellent connection speed, no loading issues. More than happy at the easy of use on this. Strongly recommend for anyone, especially us non-tech savvy users. I’d buy it again in a second. Zero down side.

Worked great. I have an older computer and it actually came with the cd drivers and installed in like 1 minute.

The TP-Link Archer T3U wireless adapter is a great multi-purpose choice that comes at an affordable price. I like the small design. It has a good antenna and supports tethering (SoftAP) via the mobile hotspot feature in Windows.

Bought it to get more bandwidth to my laptop. Found that Windows was powering all USB devices down to conserve power (even when not on battery). Bad part was it would not consistently recover the connection when powered up or required disconnect and reconnect. I returned the device at request of TP-Link, but am convinced it is a software issue (driver or Windows).

We live in a 2 story 2700 sq ft home. My modem is downstairs living room and an older acre pc is upstairs in a loft area. The connection is perfect. Strong single and no delays.

I have been trying to connect a new wifi service to my Windows 10 and older Windows 7 computers. I have tried several different adapters unsuccessfully and many Youtube help videos. This TP-Link worked like magic in a matter of minutes. I bought 2 of them and I am so happy with the outcome. Instructions were also very easy to understand.

I bought this because my WiFi card had failed in my laptop. Some reviews said you don’t need the CD, some said the CD didn’t auto-start. I found you needed the CD and had to click on the file to install the drivers. Not a biggie, but a problem if you don’t have a CD/DVD drive.
When it works, it’s great – very fast and easy connection to networks.
Biggest problem is that the driver gets corrupted on every few days. Start the computer and see the blinking light, but no internet connection. I went to uninstall and start from scratch, but there’s a repair option in the uninstall program. Picking repair did the trick, but is quite annoying to have to do this every 3-4 days.
Other, minor problem is the width of the adapter. Ports on laptops are pretty close together and this adapter is a tad too wide to plug in smoothly and easily next to the USB cable in the next port. Really have to push it in and it sits on a slight angle, fortunately making enough contact work.

Recently changed my ‘Wireless’ ISP to Videotron(500Mbps). I’ve been using this product for a few days now and I went from 40Mbps to 200Mbps using this small mini USB WiFi adapter. I’m running an older Dell laptop (2016) with older Network technology and USB-2.0 . If I had USB-3.0 technology, my speed would climb to 400-500Mbps on my ISP Network, however.
I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new laptop right now, only to increase my internet speed. For now, I’m happy with speeds up to 200Mbps.
Therefore, I opt to disable my internal network card (very easy to do) and use this small TP-Link AC1300 USB WiFi Adapter (Archer T3U).
Works like a charm, easy to install and TP-Link includes a ‘Quick Installation Guide’ and a CD with the driver and software to quickly perform the installation. If your computer system does not have a CD player, you can go to TP-Link’s Support page and download the driver prior to changing your Network if need be.
I highly recommend this product. It comes well packaged, well prepared for consumers with superb readable documentation. TP-Link products are the way to go !!
